My absolute favorite donuts in Chicago. I look forward to the winter peppermint double chocolate all year. Their old fashions are superb and I also love their breakfast sandwiches. The food is affordable and delicious.

Went here yesterday to get 6 donuts for my family for a Sunday morning breakfast treat. I noticed the "$1.00 coffee with any purchase" sign and added a medium coffee to my order. After paying and leaving, I realized I was charged $3.94.for the coffee, so I contacted the store regarding the discrepancy.
Note: There is no phone number publicly available, so the only option for customers is email.
Monica G. responded to my email, apologized for the inconvenience, and stated she would refund the price of the coffee. However, Monica then asked if the coffee was "small" or "medium". When I replied that the coffee was medium, Monica stated that the promotion is for small coffee only.
I pointed out the following in my email reply to Monica:
1. The posted sign says "$1.00 coffee with any purchase" with no mention of coffee size.
2. The sleeve that the Do-rite employee put on my MEDIUM coffee states, "$1."
3. If a small coffee is $1.00, why would a medium coffee cost almost 4 times as much?
I have not heard back from Monica since pointing these things out, and I don't anticipate I will.
Lucky for me there are plenty of places in Chicago to get donuts.
Purchaser beware.

We got bamboozled! The place was dirty, the tables were all dirty but one. Service was great, the ladies at the register were very nice but the food was not good. I had the original chicken sandwich and the chicken was flavorless. I was planning on a donut after my sandwich and honestly I had two bites and called it a day. Payed 6$ to park and for what?? Do-better, do-rite.

I used to frequent this place. donut too sweet. I went for the chicken sandwich usually. fries undersalted. I used to ask for the firebird sauce but they never put it on. they took down the firebird sauce sign. I kept trying however, and they kept not doing it but also not telling me they don't do it? bizarre. Also during the year I frequented it, the sandwiches got noticably smaller. Swore this place off

Very original address, the donuts are very generous and the prices are a little excessive. I recommend the frozen chicken donut sandwich, on the other hand 10 dollars 😖 borderline hot, but the chicken is good quality and crispy 👌

I recommend going for a walk if loved the dlnuts and chicken😁

Parking: In the city center there will only be paid spaces.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, quiet environment.
Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors at the narrow entrance I think access would be difficult.
Horrible experience today. Usually better, today the cashier had zero effort, was sniffling n coughing (obviously sick) and also in a bad mood… they had flies in the chocolate donuts and she acted like it was nothing wrong as well.., huge disappointment and completely unprofessional display.

Ive been to 3 do-rite places and so far this one is my favorite, although I love them all. They have gluten free donuts, instant 5 stars from me. And this is my first time getting their coffee, also pretty good.
