The food was okay at best. Broccoli was almost cold and the soup was barely warm. Waitstaff were very good and friendly. Fried chicken wasn't typical. It was boneless and although very moist, it had an herb in the batter that was prominent. She took it off the bill though I didn't complain. She noticed that I didn't eat it.
We had such a great time, entertaining our guest from out of town. The food was fantastic, and we had great service. The only criticism is that it became very noisy, which makes for a difficult conversation.
Great menu and value, especially for downtown. Perfect location right by where we were shopping, and then just a short walk to the Goodman Theater. The fast service was much appreciated to keep us on time after we lost time crossing the Marathon and waiting in a long line for the JellyCat store.
