Great Customer Service, I ended up going over the price I wanted to actually spend, and they still compensated me with a onion ring on the house after they seen I didn’t have enough! Great people behind the counter, Gonna have a solid customer out of me, appreciate yall guys again ! 🤞🏾

Here from out of town and I was asked if I wanted lemon pepper. I explained that I did not want any lemon pepper because I have a citrus allergy. I get back to the place I'm staying and there were 2 lemon wedges in my box. I was told to keep my receipt and the food until I can bring it back. Im not from here and dont have the means for keeping food and trying to figure out how to get back up there. I dont recommend this place!!!

I ordered from Dock’s Fish through Grubhub — two Fish-Wish sandwiches with no tomatoes and fried crispy. When my order arrived, both sandwiches had cheese on them, which I didn’t request. I called Dock’s and the cashier told me I would need to contact GrubHub for a refund, but after work I decided to go up to Dock’s myself.
I explained that I didn’t want a refund — I just wanted my order made correctly because my lunch had been ruined. The manager was extremely understanding and kind. She explained that next time, I could call Grubhub and they’d have the driver bring the food back to be remade. I didn’t even know that was an option — and it was actually really helpful information!
In the end, the manager instructed the cooks to remake my sandwiches, and they came out perfect. She was so accommodating and handled the situation with great customer service. I really appreciated how she went out of her way to make things right.

Customer service is always wonderful and friendly, it’s one employee I think his name Ricky that’s always there lunch time and dinner time with a big smile on his face. It’s not to many restaurants that have young men at the front counter so it’s always a pleasure to see him, and he is very polite This is a go to spot for me and my children ,we go at least twice a week. The fish is always fresh , food is cooked fast and the place is very clean.

I’m at Docks at least twice a week that’s how much my family loves this place! My mom can’t get enough of it, and honestly, neither can I. Ricky and Nicki are hands down the BEST cashiers! They know my order by heart, always get it right, and make sure everything is fresh and perfect every single time. The service is top-tier, the energy is always great, and the food never misses!

$53 spent on 2 whiting and perch combo at 87th Dan Ryan location…
The fish tasted good UNTIL I broke off a piece of my second piece of whiting only to find 2 small black hard round rock like pellets (mouse droppings) under the crust…
I immediately felt like throwing up.. My first thought was to drive back to the restaurant (40 minutes away) but decided to call and let them know what happened..BIG MISTAKE!!!
As I told the employee the situation, he right away became defensive and said with agitation “ That’s Impossible!” I assured him it was and asked for the manager since he was in denial. He then stated he was the manager.(Ricky) I asked if he wanted me to bring it back and he said “yes !“ very aggressively . I hung up and was about to leave but decided it wasn’t worth the agitation or confrontation, because he (the manager) wasn’t going to do anything to rectify the problem… He could have easily said I hope that this is a mistake in judgment of what you found and I’ll be happy to refund your order if you bring it back. Instead, he was defensive and offensive all in one. Docks has been my once a month go to for decades and this one time has ruined that tradition. No more for me.

Ordered a fish wich it was Disgusting the fish was rotten with a loud pungent smell the batter was doughy and orange. Paid $19 to get food poisoning will definitely be calling FDA This incident occurred on 8/27/2025 !
