I was so happy to see this restaurant back open, very nice remodel. Get rid of or retrain your front staff person who complained of a tooth ache and took it out on all your customers. And yes she got off at five today. Your cooks were using old product refrying it and passing it off to the customers. I ordered wing dinner, small sea nuggets, and 2 fishwish sandwiches. My hard earned dollars were wasted. All my orders were dried completly out. so disappointed. i hope i dont get sick from the potion me and my husband ate.

I feel like I've made multiple reviews about this store first experience was a very rude experience from the girl that works there with the braids. Every time I go she has the same horrible attitude. The second time I went girl was short blonde hair was excellent had the best customer service I've ever experienced. Third time I went another lady with short hair and glasses and a hat was pretty okay but you can tell she didn't want to be bothered cuz she was busy mopping and getting ready to close. All in all she was still respectful but it just didn't seem like customer service was her priority. The food is always amazing The cook I can tell loves what he does. I mean this dude literally has made the best fish I've ever tasted as of recent. Always fresh never overcook always golden. Crisp. And the fries be on point. The atmosphere is dope it's bright clean and newly renovated. I understand you supposed to go in these places and just get your food but I hate feeling like I'm bothering people and feeling like I have to ask people to come and ring me up because it seems like they're too busy focused on closing at 10:30 when they close at 12:00. I hope they get this in order man ain't trying to rag on nobody but it's enough of this in the black community as it is with horrible customer service and we wonder why we can't get anywhere 🤦🏾

The cashier had more attitude than a little bit little did she know I was probably a little older than her, and yet she spoke to me as if I was her child I would not ever want to eat at this Docks again nor would I recommend the Docks I didn’t really care for her attitude and normally I give people a pass because I figure we’re all human and having a bad day but when I watched her interactions with the other customers, it left me feeling very perplexed maybe the question of asking if the people that owned this Docks bought it from another person that I personally knew rubbed her the wrong way.The food was not the original flavor of Docks the wish sandwich was not tasty at all not even close to mimicking the taste. I grew up down the street from the original Docks so as original customers of the original Docks, this Docks does not measure up. Even the dock berry shake was a little too extra sweet so I was definitely disappointed and I definitely would not return to the Docks nor would I recommend it.

I haven't had doc's fish since I was a kid I ended up going to the one on 35th and it tasted like I was eating chemicals. I was scared to try this one due to that bad experience but boy!!!!! Complete night and day difference. Might be some of the freshest whiting I've ever had. Seasoned to perfection. I mean the food was just perfectly cooked and seasoned. The young girl that was taking orders could use a little polishing up because she's a little harsh. I understand being personable but they're also is a such thing as being professional. Very bossy but not in a boss type professional way. I can tell she's a sweetheart at the heart but not everybody will feel that same way.. The new upgrade of the renovation is awesome too looks very clean inside. I will be back

Docks “USED” to be a staple in the neighborhood. I was heartbroken to see them close. Once word got out that the establishment was reopened I was so exited. I decided to stop in and order food one evening after work. I should’ve known better. I believe a good business starts as soon as you walk in the front door. Well, I walked in and approached the counter there was a young short lady at the desk. No greetings, no warm welcome, and she never said a word, NOR even give us any eye contact. She stayed holding her head as if she was in the bottom Pits of hell. As I patiently waited for her to stop text messaging on her cell phone.I placed my order and she gave the impression that she was extremely aggravated that I was even ordering food. When I finished placing the order she didn’t even tell me the price. She stood still and displayed a nonchalant attitude like “can’t you read?”. After asking her “how much?” She responded with my total. I paid 60.00+ dollars for poor customer service. This young lady disposition ,dry tone, and lack of professionalism DEFINITELY screams volumes. I’m unsure if certain businesses even realize that great customer service ELEVATES revenue tenfold. This young lady comes off very angry and dis shuffled to be working. I will NOT be a patronage of this docks! I refuse to spend my money with anyone who allows this type behavior. Before leaving my review I took the time to read others. I noticed there are an abundance of reviews claiming poor customer service of the same young lady. Oh, I almost forgot to mention I called Docks to speak with a manager and the same young lady answered the phone stating she is the manager. If this is the case, and she IS the manager then the next phone call should go to the Alderman office. I’m so heartbroken, anguished, and disgusted at the same time. If you read this review and happen to still Proceed to the “New Docks” if you see this young lady just know your experience will be horrible and your order will be horrible because she won’t pay attention to anything you try and tell regarding your order
