I have been enjoying breads and pastries from New Dokil my whole life from various asian grocery stores (Joong Boo, Hmart, Tai Nam, Park to Shop) and always get something the moment I see it. My favorites have to be the white bean bread, every cream bread, and mocha castella. Always fresh, super soft, and not too sweet. I would like to visit the main location one day for a special occasion cake.

I love this bakery! I first came on the Flavors of Albany Park tour and have returned since for wonderful baked goods. The owners are so friendly and generous. I got the peanut cream pastry, red bean cream bun, and a green tea cake. They gave me a corn cake to try as well which was so kind! Everything they make is light, perfectly sweet, and so good.
FYI they only accept cash or Zelle for payment.

Overall, our experience with Bakerty store was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and helpful when we were placing our order for 620 Korean authentic breads for a conference. They delivered the breads on time and were very courteous throughout the process.
The attendees absolutely loved the breads, the red bean, green bean, and crunch peanut bread. The quality of the breads was top-notch and everyone was impressed with how delicious they were.
We will definitely be ordering from Bakerty store again in the future and highly recommend them for any catering needs. Thank you for providing such a great experience!|

I don’t know a lot about Korean bread, but after coming here a few times, I’m excited to! The soboro bun (peanut streusel) and red bean buns are my favorite items so far. This is a very simple bakery, the perfect place to pick up a breakfast pastry on a sunny morning. The owner and staff are really nice too.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and the pastries are very delicious but also cheap. My only wish is for them to open extend the time a bit so I can visit them on the week day. But I guess I don’t mind visiting them on the weekends either.
