Google says they work until 9 PM. Arrived 3 hours before closing. The door was open. There were 3 people inside, including the person at the bar. They looked at us like aliens landed in their restaurant.I asked whether they are open or closed. The person behind the bar thought about it, and then informed happily that they are closed. This was the worst experience in Chicago so far.

Would not recommend coming to this joint. Bar staff is very rude and unaccommodating. Had a very unfortunate mishap where bartender made racist judgements prior to helping guests. When asking if there was a policy violation or if we could speak to a manager. He insisted he was the manager and said he made a decision based on a judgement call of my friend. This was so infuriating. Will not be returning. Highly recommend others do not as well.

Hear me out.. this is the best after dinner spot. I admittedly haven't eaten the hot food here (and I hear it's great), but oh my god the martinis and cookies are out of this world. I've stumbled in here twice after a dinner at La Scarola for a delicious espresso or chocolate martini with a side of the most well done Italian cookies I've ever had. The staff here are also so welcoming and personable.

Stopped in for my first time this morning and had the Cornetto (bacon, egg and cheese) and a latte. Both were great! The cornetto was large, filling and delicious…just wish it was a little warmer. It’s a cozy spot filled with pastries and gelato. The service was welcoming and personable. Great new find! I’ll be back. Also, they have gluten free options.

Not just a bakery/coffee shop!! Such a cute ambiance and while their pastries and coffee are fantastic, would also highly recommend their cocktails. Great spot to stop in to if you’re nearby!

Great little bakery/bar/restaurant. I loved the biscuits - highly recommend - so chewy!!

If you’re in the area or plan to be I would suggest coming in here for a nice treat. Endless amounts of freshly baked pastries to complement your morning or lunchtime coffee or tea. The staff and management is super nice and welcoming. My favorite pastry right now is the pistachio crescent. The flakiness from the crescent combined with the warm pistachio filling is an absolute hit, and it’s not too messy either! Can’t wait to stop by in again with my girlfriend!

Must visit! Stumbled upon this shop on accident and stayed for a awhile because of the vibes. Best espresso martini I’ve had in awhile

Placed an order for a 4p pickup. Drove over an hour out of my way to find out that they’re closed and there’s no one there at 3:50p. Don’t waste your time.
