I always like to get dim sum here. I like the fried pot stickers, deep fried stuff meat in rice crepe, shrimp roll, su mai, shrimp dumplings. You won’t find any free parking in Chinatown but Dolo.
I was initially going to describe Dolo as a small, hole-in-the-wall dim sum spot in Chicago’s Chinatown, but then I remembered how long the line was to get in. Fortunately, my group came prepared with reservations. The food was excellent for the price—less than $100 for five people, which would easily be about $200 in the Bay Area. I had to give this place a try after seeing them receive a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand. The pricing is amazingly affordable considering the portion size and high quality. The food came out quickly, and the complimentary tea was a nice bonus. The location is just a short walk from the main Chinatown area, and there’s also a small parking lot.
