Love Doma Café! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. My fiance and I recently took our engagement photos here and Eva was very thoughtful and didn’t hesitate to offer us the space. Doma Café has become a staple for us.

Ps. The breakfast sandwich with maple sausage is a MUST!

Absolutely love this place! If I lived in Chicago, this would be a breakfast spot on rotation. Nonetheless, it will be a spot that I will visit without fail whenever I do go. This is coming from a person who isn’t big on breakfast as well. The sandwiches are super delicious!

They have great coffee, and a good cookie. Definitely a place I would go back to. They have breakfast sandwiches that look really good. Overall a kid friendly place that gets super busy and packed but is worth waiting and sitting.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids, snacks, juice

Doma is more than just a restaurant—it’s a home away from home. I’ve been coming here regularly for about three years now, and every visit feels like a return to my roots in Croatia. The owners have become close friends, and the staff treats every guest like family. But the real star is the food—authentic, comforting, and made with care. Every dish takes me back, and the attention to detail in the flavors is unmatched.

Beyond the food, the interior design is just as special. Whether I’m bringing friends to experience it for the first time or enjoying a quiet moment before a busy day, Doma always delivers the perfect atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that feels warm, welcoming, and effortlessly European, this is it. Can’t recommend it enough

Had this place saved and wanted to check it out. I came here on a Saturday around 1pm, which was a very busy time (makes sense). You order at the counter and they later bring the food. After ordering, I waited around 15 minutes to get a table as they were all occupied, which I wouldn't have minded if I wasn't holding my order number in one hand and my drink in the other as it was given out to me and not brought later to the table. Anyway, they have a nice heated patio, where it's less loud than the first room. I got the grain bowl, which was good, but rice and sweet potatoes were cold. The pesto rice was really nice though! The waitress who brought the plate kind of just threw it onto the table without saying a word. I would probably come back another time when it's less busy to get a different experience, as I understand weekends are stressful, but I didn't have the best lunch!

The worst cevapi I’ve ever had!
Even though it was labeled as beef, it tasted very heavy, almost like pork. The spinach and beef bureks were also overly greasy and unpleasant. It was so crowded that people were standing next to your tables.
Very bad experience.

Doma means home - and that is exactly true of the food + experience that you will receive when dining with Doma. We are absolute regulars and it never gets old. The high quality food, simple and relaxing atmosphere, accommodating staff, and overall deliciousness makes this an extension of our home.

Perfect for a solo date, working from home, meeting friends post workout, weekend breakfasts - get there early, but if not - the line moves quick! Super kid + baby friendly, too.

We are so impressed with what used to be our favorite hidden gem - and are so excited everyone is catching on.

Our favorites: Matcha, Iced Latte, Pancake, Breakfast Sandwich (extra sauce!), Granola Bowl, and of course the Hashbrowns.

Parking: paid street parking on orleans and oak!

Kid-friendliness: great for families and high chairs provided!
