I recently visited Don Prez Taco Cantina, and I have to say, the experience was disappointing. the prices were far too high for what you actually get. The portions were small, and the taste definitely didn’t justify the cost. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously improve their offerings or adjusting their prices to better fit a casual taco spot. For instance, I ordered the chips and salsa, which were priced at $8- which to me is on the higher end but not outrageous….until...
My first time here. The owners were friendly and kind. I was served quickly and I received great service.
I got the chorizo breakfast tacos which are only available on the weekends. They were hardy and filling and came with a side of creamy salsa verde which added a welcome brightness. I’m from Austin, where breakfast tacos are kind of a big deal, and these are as good as any I’ve had back home.
If I’m ever back, I bet melted cheese...

Met up with friends here tonight to try something new. I had the quesabirria which was worth $20 for the 3 tacos- delish. The chips and guac were pretty good too- the chips appeared to be freshly made. Everything else was overpriced and overall not worth the entire bill. Always happy to support a small business but we will not be returning due to the prices. The service was friendly and the place was small and cute- glad we gave it a try.
