Just took my buddy on 1/23/26 and he loved it! That breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, bacon and sausage on wheat toast! The staff in there are very respectful and quick might I add.

This place is an absolute hidden gem!! I'd gotten a ribeye steak with eggs and hash browns for $16.00!!! And that's in the city! If I was to stop down in them Podunk little towns or county's it'd cost me $25.00 minimum!

Don's. If you've ever had Waffle House, this is the closest I've found to it in Chi. Great food, great service. It's a bit tight, they only have about 12-15 barstool seats, but it's never been an issue, never had to wait.

I asked for a ribeye with two pancakes and an orange juice, paid the guy and tipped up front he brings me a omelette I didn’t ask for then says that if I wanna ribeye I gotta pay for both even though I didn’t ask for the omelette , at this point I ask for my money back and he only gives me back half of what I paid and still kept the tip
