The empanadas were ok. I liked the chicken. The cheesy beef was oddly sweet and tasted like bleach for some reason.

Chimichurri Is good

Walked 20 mins to try their food, 2:30 on a Saturday, and they were closed.....web site says they are open until 5pm. Not good business.....lost a customer for life.

Damn! That Lechón Sandwich hit the spot! Absolutely flavorful, the sandwich is pressed to crispy perfection, the lechón is well seasoned and juicy. The add of acidity from the pickled onion and creaminess of the door drip sauce beautifully ties the sandwich together. Not to mention the yucca fries are crispy and have a fluffy center. One final thing that parcha pina drink they have is so fruity and refreshing perfect for a hot summer day!

Will be returning to try some rellenos de papa!

At first we were hesitant about what the menu offered but we went anyways and OMG it did not disappoint!!! It’s just want we needed a little taste of home 🇵🇷
The owner was super humble and nice and was very helpful to all our needs.

Food was 20/10 and very authentic flavor. That Lechón was to die for 🤤

I didn't just get directions, I ate at this wonderful little place and enjoyed it alot. This little spot is located in the back right corner of a location that is loaded with other restaurants. But this, is the one to go to. When in Chicago, make sure you stop here!

The food is amazing. The flavors in my omelette and hash browns blended together so well. The blueberry lemonade was on point as well. I completely enjoyed everything.

Skip the empanadas.
I tried these at a pop up they had at a market and thought they were really underwhelming, especially for the crazy price of $4 per tiny empanada. Definetly worth passing

This review is your sign to RUN not walk here! The sandwiches are amazing! The rice, plantains and the tamafongo are spectacular. Like nothing I’ve tasted before. An explosion of flavors if you will. The staff is amazing and owners are such a nice couple. Happy this place is around because I’ll definitely be coming back and sending my all my friends! Thanks dope drip for making it to my top 5 lunch places when dreading a long work day!

This Puerto Rican food is a Gem in the North side of the Humboldt Park area, The Food is Magnificent, They really have a New twist to the known Mofongo and a Tamal. Its Home of the ""Tamafongo"" I'm proud its here in Chicago. Do your tastebuds a favor and try it out.. 5 Stars.??❤

Incredible food!! The beef Tamafongo is life-changing, as is their steak sandwich. We also tried a rice bowl with cauliflower rice and it was delicious. Their cauliflower rice is the only cauliflower rice I've ever tried that is a good texture and actually tastes good. Dope Drip is a must try!
