Listen! Dorian’s is a vibe! An amazing vibe! It’s an intimate speakeasy in the back of a record shop. We went on a Tuesday for JAZZ HAPPY HOUR With MATTHEW DAVIS QUINTET and they were amazing!

The tickets came with a welcome drink; we didn’t get to enjoy it because it was limited to a gin cocktail and a beer. Neither of us drink gin. A rum and coke would have sufficed.

With all said; I can’t wait until we attend another Jazz Happy Hour.

I had been wanting to go here for a while and finally had the opportunity to go with a group of friends.

Immaculate and intimate setting for speakeasy with live jazz music were the highlights. The record shop vibe was amazing to experience in person.

Alejandro Salazar, Javier Ocasio, and Will Mallard’s music was captivating, to say the least. The place gets packed pretty quickly so get there before live music starts if you have a larger group or want tables. All in all, definitely the place to be if you like live music.

Waited in line for 30 minutes. Payed a cover fee of ten dollars each. We got in and there was zero room for anyone to even stand. Getting a drink at the bar was basically nonexistent. Was too packed. Finally got our two drinks (27 dollars for two drinks) and they were the wrong drinks. Disgusting not what we ordered. Tried to explain as it was thirty dollars down the drain… they didn’t care or even seem to give a damn about anything. We ended up leaving the drinks on the bar and left. We told the bouncer the issues and he also didn’t care. So lost a lot of cash for a nothing experience. Would never go back.

The bar and atmosphere were fine. But the lack of communication about cover and band times made our night a lot less fun than expected. Spent 5 to 10 minutes researching the place to see that there's usually no cover before 8. Showed up at 730 and there was a 15 dollar cover. Fine. Payed it for my wife and I, expecting the band to hit at 8 as advertised on the website. Band didn't come on until 905, and we had to leave before the first set ended because it's a weeknight.

Please please please as a live music fan I am begging venues to be clear about set times and cover charges!

The band was supposed to start at eight, and they kept us waiting for an hour for no reason. Bad

Loved the atmosphere and vibe here. This was the first time I’ve been to a jazz bar and loved the live music. The drinks were good and the music was great! Will definitely be back soon!

Chill speakeasy style place to grab a drink. They apparently have live jazz some nights. The night we visited there was a DJ - who was also great.

Great spot with lots of vibes, food and snacks are kind of underwhelming and some of the venue feels performative but they have some cool details and it's a nice getaway from wicker park.

This speakeasy hidden behind a record store has a cool vibe with live music late at night. Note if you arrive before 8 pm, there’s no cover charge. While the drinks were decent, nothing particularly stood out, and the bartenders seemed a bit disinterested throughout the evening. However, the jazz performance was a highlight, starting around 9 pm, and it was fantastic to enjoy live music in such an intimate setting.

Beautiful little speakeasy nestled in the back of a record shop. Lovely decor and soft pastels. Cozy vibes. Live music is great here, and incredible bartender service with a large selection of liquors to choose from. Excellent service and execution in a very quaint spot.
