More than a simple lunchnette it's a very good agave bar. The selection of mezcal makes it one of the better mezcal bars. By the way the food is lunchnette style but with tinges of very good food

An excellent place to walk into on a cold day. Old Time feel meets Wicker Park meal! You can't go wrong on choosing a number of great options on their menu. With an extensive selection of agave, their staff is not only helpful but knowledge as well. Belly up to the bar and listen to vinyl from side to side.

If dining in person on a frigid day, be prepared to wait in the cold vestibule or grab some coffee across the street until you get called. Once seated, we were served right away and the food came out quickly. My group of 4 was pleased with their selections and 2 had to take food to-go. 2 of us ordered the Dove’s Deluxe, which included bacon that was nice, thick, and tasty. The potatoes were outstanding. Each was like eating mini stuffed potatoes skins. The eggs and toast were fine. I tried some of my friend’s brisket and I thought it was ok. My other friend’s pozole was very large and filling and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, it was a good experience.
