One of my favorite breweries in Chicago, we make a point to come here everytime we visit Chicago but really felt unwelcomed tonight. As a restaurant worker myself, it’s crazy they let staff make people feel unwelcomed in this establishment when the guests are paying the bills.

Stopped by Dovetail Brewery around 3 PM on a Saturday and was blown away. The taproom has a cozy yet spacious vibe—perfect for enjoying a brew. Tried the Helles Lager and Kölsch; both were crisp and refreshing. You can tell they take their brewing seriously, using traditional European methods. The staff was friendly, and the outdoor seating area is a great spot to relax. Definitely planning to return.
The beer is great and the staff are chill. They've got their own good eats, but have some food popups for the summer which is nice.
We have been with our toddler, though I would call it neutral on kids (like I wouldn't bring a gaggle of 'em). The staff seem fine with it, space can just be limited. We've got a runner and she does better on their little patio, where unofficially the very end has become a little spot for fun with chalk.
