Chef’s are not Jamaicans… the food was horrible!

I’ve ordered from them quite frequently. My last 4 orders have been horrible. From them adding the wrong item in the bag, to them undercooking their Festival cornbread ( it was literally uncooked DOUGH on the inside), they had me to come in & they made a double order to compensate (great customer service right?!) , well, they OVER cooked the bread to the point that it was near black! I HATE to be this person & leave a bad review, especially about a black owned business. However, today I received my order & the festival bread I splurged to have delivered, is HARD! It’s like a rock!! I don’t know what’s happened to them or their chef, but I’m officially fed up (or fed under?!)... I just want what I’ve ordered & it to be GOOD! That’s it! & I’m tired of complaining about it. I kept giving them a chance because, (again) it’s black owned. But I can no longer support literally garbage. It’s inedible!!!

They had a sign that they were closed due to building issues. I had ordered food on an app called “To Good to Go” that provides food for low income or disabled persons at large discounts at the end of the night. I took a bus and a train 5 miles. If you close, you have to notify all apps that you work with for food orders that you’re closed so that money is not taken away from people. Including transit money.

We ordered the jerk wings, Rasta pasta, jerk shrimp, festival, and curry fries. Everything tasted delicious. The Rasta pasta is the best of its kind and loved it. The wings were marinated to perfection. Will definitely come back!

The food here is TOP TIER! I'm not a fan of Rasta Pasta, but at Dr. Birds? It is so delicious and satisfying. They cook their herk salmon to perfection. The beef Patties are amazing and always fresh! Highly recommend

Dr. Bird clearly got their degree from the school of good cooking! The Dinna with jerk salmon & black pepper fries, was a delight. Jerk salmon was done just right! A filling and sumptuous meal for a good price- I plan to come back for more!

We had the jerk half chicken and wings with coco rice as well as the beef patties. EVERYTHING was delicious!!! You can’t miss coming through Dr. Birds.
