If you like small, dark, dive bars, this is your place! Don’t be put off by how hole-in-the-wall it is though, they have a great whiskey selection and friendly service. It’s a great stop along Broadway for an Old Style or a Chicago Handshake!
Came here after 10 years of living in other places to find the same comfy bar with the same faces and it was surreal in the best way. Big props to the team here. I hope it's still a bar in 100 years time
If you don't get out there and support small, welcoming neighborhood bars like this, every spot in Chicago will become an elevated cocktail bar with 20 dollar drinks that come with a sprig of thyme.
