And the bathroom was wonderfully clean

Tarah is an absolute standout behind the bar. From the moment I sat down, she made me feel welcome with her warm personality and genuine attentiveness. Her drink recommendations were spot-on, and she mixed everything with precision and creativity. I was there last night and just ordered a basic Mai Tai and had a bit of sticker shock when charged $18 for a basic drink
It was a total rip off

If you book bands you need to be able to keep track of your gear, work your own sound system, and employ people who are competent. Not to mention promote the show at all and charge the cover that the booker guaranteed you would charge. Embarrassing.

Decent place whenever they choose to have food pickup available (it's rare), but the worst part about this place is the crowd it attracts. Never seen a bar attract so many noisy, belligerent folks that just outright refuse to go home when the bar's closing down and each night the cops have to be called out to get people to go home. Sad!

I’ve been coming to Duffy’s every Tuesday for trivia for the past 3 years with my friends. Over the past few months since they’ve come under new management they’ve completely depleted the quality of the food, fired almost all of their community building staff (who had been there for decades) and seemingly gotten sloppy with their services from non-working rewards programs to overall issues with the manager. Unfortunately, me and my friends are now looking for a new trivia place after calling Duffy’s our trivia home for 3 years.

Ever since this bar has come under new management last year, it has gone down downhill. They have cheapened the food, the servers hardly know their menu, and trivia is just not as fun anymore. My trivia team has been coming here for 3 years and we will likely change locations because of the changes. Today alone, we found paper in our nachos, the fried pickle chips are paper thin, and the fried chicken plate reeked heavily of rosemary. So disappointing to see the new management ruin the vibes of our former favorite neighborhood dive.

Even though the atmosphere was pretty chill with the games and stuff, this bar was gross in my opinion. I ordered a whiskey sour and it was the flattest and nastiest one I’ve had at any bar to the point where I felt nauseous the rest of the night. The live band that they had in the back wasn’t good and was way too loud. But what really solidified my one star review was a server or someone who worked there that kept circling our table every 3 minutes to grab “empty” cans and throw them away for us. It wouldn’t have been an issue had he not kept reaching over us, brushing up against all of the girls in our group and making us uncomfortable, AND he put his hands INSIDE of our beer buckets and putting his fingers over the rinks of the cans we hadn’t even started drinking yet to see if they were empty. It was gross and very unprofessional. We were there for about 2 hours so he did this to us at least 10+ times to the point where me and another girl at our table said out loud “we’re fine, please stop grabbing our drinks”. When that was said, he only came back in faster intervals and would angrily stare down me and my friend and made us super uncomfortable. Then when we were leaving, we were standing by the door waiting for our friends to finish using the bathroom, so he stood by the door with us staring at us instead of clearing off the table which is what he was doing all night? So the moment the table was empty, he could have started clearing the table which is what he had BEEN doing all night, but now that we were leaving instead of continuing his job, he actively waited for us to leave and stared us down until we did. He made us feel super unwelcome and uncomfortable and solidified that I will never step foot into this establishment again. Btw, it was the guy who was kinda chubby and with the long hair.

Food and drinks were good but service could’ve been way better. I’ve been coming to Duffy’s for some time now and have gotten close with some workers. Never had service like today. Very slow and felt like waitress attended everyone but us. Very disappointed.
