The service is very bad here. They take a long time to take your order, they are not friendly, and they take just as long to bring the food to the table. Very bad service

The wait time for 2 pancakes was ridiculous.
They were good though.

Very unorganized staff. Waitress told me to wait to be called on my phone for a table, people left and tables were empty and I never got called. I had to go in and sit myself down eventually. Food was good. Service needs improvement.

I love it 💖 whatever you order is delicious. My favorite is green chilaquiles. Pot coffee. Wow. My children enjoy it every time we go.

Don’t take this with a grain of salt. I’m not like the other girl that reviewed but tbh $38… for three items. Mind you in the menu it has no prices. So you gotta pray.

Service: Both lady’s on the phone dragging to take my order. Yall it’s a Sunday. Quick greeting but damn. I’ve worked several years in the food industry from fast food to fine dining so… bffr.

Wait: 20 minutes for two crepes and a frappes, crazy.

Food: the food itself was honestly alright. These are NOT crepes. Crepes are meant to be paper thin, not thick. These are pancake like consistency and again for me to have paid $28 (not including the frappe) for two is absolutely diabolical. We are in Gage Park.
I got the Nutella one and the Nutella was drizzled on top and like two scoops of it inside. Yes I’m a big back and like to get what I paid for. My girl got a strawberry one and again, thick and strawberries not fresh.
Plus in the pics you can see how thick and how little whip, how little sugar…

For the frappe, it was good for what it is but if I get a venti caramel ribbon crunch at starbies it’s $7.14 with taxes. This one was around the size of a grande and was $9.

Parking wise they “have” parking. Their lot is meh and the liquor store people will block the entrance. Tbh the Cicero location has same treatment.

TLDR: overhyped, overpriced, and tbh bad service = bad food. Should’ve gone to an actual gourmet place. Save yourself the money and bad parking.

Came with my daughter for breakfast. I ordered cafe de olla and she had an oreo shake. My 7 yr old daughter takes a sip and automatically spits it out because it had coffee! I asked the lady if it had coffee and she gave me attitude saying all their shakes had coffee. I said okay well can you just not add any its for my daughter. She rolled her eyes and came back saying they can re make it but they need to charge me for it. The food was so mediocre, for the price. I ordered chilaquiles with meat and it was so hard to cut. The music was extremely loud I left with a headache. I spent $65 for 2 people, one being a kids meal.

Different prices than what’s shown on the menu. Should update your menu to the prices you’re actually charging. Service was bad the server didn’t understand what we were saying even speaking to her in Spanish.

So take this review with a grain of salt as I like to go into a place and get what I want. And that definitely didn't happen here. My scrambled soft eggs where hard, the crispy potatoes were just bolied potatoes, and my churro French toast came out as plain French toast (Im still waiting on the syrup, cause plain french toast is mid at best.)
But it is a cute place. When I got past not being able to get my food how I liked, it was decent. It was good for what it was, I just wanted it differently. The kitchen doesn't seem to be able to handle requests. It's the kinda place that they cook it out how they cook it. It's not bad, just not for me.
The fruit was good and so was the coffee
