REALLY A BAD TREATMENT...EVERYTHING AND THE SERVICE...EVERYTHING STARTED WITH THE COFFEE ☕...ONE LOOKED LIKE PURE WATER IT DIDN'T TASTE LIKE COFFEE...AND THE OTHER WAS GOOD...WAITING FOR THE WAITRESS I HEAR LOOKING BEING ABLE TO MAKE THEM A SIGN FOR THEM TO CHANGE IT... THE THREE OF US TALKING WITH THEIR BACKS TURNED...I HAD TO GET UP AND TALK TO THEM....YET THEY WERE ALREADY LATE TO SERVE TWO COFFEE ☕☕ well we had to SHARE ONE WHILE THEY MADE IT ANOTHER ..AND I ORDERED SOME CHILAQUILES WITH EGG IN THE OMELETTE BROWNED TOGETHER.. BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE THE SCRAMBLED EGG ..AND THE WAISTRESS SAID LET'S SEE IF THEY CAN DO IT..WELL DON'T NOTICE ME THEY ONLY MADE THE CHILAQUILES WITH THE SCRAMBLED EGG FOR ONE SIDE...AND I TOLD HER THAT I DON'T LIKE THE EGG LIKE THAT.(?.AND THE COOK CAME OUT AND TOLD ME, WE'LL MAKE THEM, IF YOU WANT IT, I'LL KICK IT.)?.. When we arrived the place was up to capacity. They took are number we didn't wait long. The food was ? ?. I didn't know we had this gem in the neighborhood. Tried several dishes..this is my new go to spot.

The food is decent. The problem is the service and its administration (boss Imelda). I ordered some chilaquiles with the scrambled egg between the tortilla chips. And she didn't want to do it, she made the decision to do it her way without prior notice of whether I wanted it done or wanted another way. When I called her attention, Mrs. Imelda took on a very arrogant and rude attitude. The waitresses, for their part, give you very bad service. They bring the food at different times, they don't serve you things well, and they get upset if you ask them for something, it seems that their conversation is more important than providing better service. Coffee ☕️ is pure water. It was necessary for me to get up to interrupt their conversation and ask them for another one because they did not attend to me and even worse because they had a very bad attitude. It’s a cute cafe, a nice place to have breakfast/brunch with friends or on a date. The food was delicious and the waitresses were very kind and attentive.

The truth is I don't know how my brother likes to come here, he had already had a bad experience in Cicero but according to him it is better here and the truth is very bad attention from the waitresses, you ask them for something and they get upset and now I had to return the strawberries. blueberry were bad, they already tasted bad and he just said that's how they all are and even then I had to pay them and seeing the faces of the angry waitresses, the truth is, if they like their job, they should look for another one where they can be happy. I don't recommend it at all.

It's a small place, decorated nice with very clean tables, walls, floors, and restroom. I had the Chilaquiles de Mole. They were insanely hot (spicy hot). The mole was not really like a sauce. It was very thick and pasty. I've had this dish at many other places, and of course, all mole is different, but this one was just too thick and tasted like curry. It was a very intense heat. It came with scrambled eggs, beans, and sliced baguette (toasted), That was all very good. My large capuccino was kind of watery, I couldn't taste the espresso at all. Kinda tasted like a watery hot chocolate. It wasn't really bad, but it wasn't great either. One of my coworkers got the strawberry crepe (which he loved), and the other got the broccoli soup which she liked but commented that it would have been better if it had some small bits of broccoli actually in it. She also had the Agua de fresa, which she really liked. It was made fresh to order. I'm getting that next time. The service was excellent and very, very fast. They were very friendly and on point. I'll be back to try different things.
