I’ve been coming to this location since I’ve started my job back in 2023. Estie was very professional and knew her customers, she’d always be professional and honest when certain items weren’t available and do what she could even no other staff. Unfortunately, she isn’t there and current staff now lacks professionalism and good customer service. While I understand donuts aren’t made specifically at this location, I bought a donut(Jelly) in the morning and due to having meetings I couldn’t eat my donut immediately, but when going to eat my donut I noticed when biting in it there was no jelly. When I go back to this location mid afternoon and explained I asked if I could get a credit for my next visit and was told this would be done by a manager. I returned a day later and expressed my situation and the employee(who told me that the manager would handle it) chimed in as I was explaining situation and says I bit into the donut which I felt was the only way I knew it was an incomplete donut; she continues to make remarks saying it’s just a donut and regardless if it’s just a donut I didn’t get what I paid for. She continued to make comments about my reaction because of a donut but the issue was I had issue with what I received and was speaking to the manger as instructed, this employee was irrelevant and would proceed to display bad customer service. It’s not just today but this location has decreased in good service and their employees aren’t friendly.

MARTHA who was waiting on me was so patient with me when I wasn't sure what I wanted..then she made me the 🥑 avocado toast. It was Sooo good I asked for a second!! Thank you Martha you are the best. A very cheerful sweet person and a great cook!!

I don’t know why excellent service and great products turn into the exact opposite with these big brands, which seem to be heading out of the market soon. I used to be a big fan of this brand and their coffee, but now I find myself looking more for small places that offer exceptional services.

Very good place to relax and spend time in downtown Chicago, plus the service is very good
The gentleman working in the morning was very rude and disrespectful from the moment I arrived there. He was constantly harassing me and after I ordered my drink I proceeded to sit in the booth I was at. Yes it was for a few hours but I was not bothering anyone or causing any problems. Without asking me to leave, he then called the cops on me and had me removed, and refused to refund me for my drink which I was not yet finished with. He assumed I wasn't gonna buy anything and was upset when I did and stayed too long in his eyes. Why was I singled out when I was keeping to myself and a paying customer like everyone else. I will be following up with this matter and would like to have contact with corporate and have this unprofessional, disrespectful, discriminating employee reprimanded for embarrassing me in front of a big crowd of people and I want my money back for the drink I was forced to finish outside the building where I am currently sitting

We stopped for lunch and had pancakes and The Best corned beef hash I have ever tasted!!! We were able to sit outside and they were also very dog friendly. Will come back here for sure!
