I live right around the corner so it’s convenient to place a pickup order and stop in. The staff is always really friendly and greet you if they’re not helping other customers.
The reason for the 3 stars is their bagels are sometimes stale and hard to bite through. Also, the store is at times dirty, but this could be because they just got hit by a wave of people.
There’s also an aggressive homeless guy that stands out front and opens the door for people with the expectation of money or food for his part time job being a “doorman.” I’ve tried ignoring him a few times and was met with a barrage of nasty remarks. I hate starting my mornings out like that 🙄
