Walked in to kill some time. I ordered an old-fashioned and chose to sit at a table. This is the perfect bar for a first date or to catch up with an old friend. There are plenty of other restaurants and bars within walking distance and this bar is both a great place to either start out at or to end your night. In terms of lighting and ambiance alone, it’s a solid ten out of ten.

I stumbled into this place a year ago and continue to love their vibe, ambiance, happy hour, and staff! Most recently, there were new cocktails added that are curated by Tailor who is my driving force in popping in every week. She knows what I want before I tell her & is an expert in what beer, wine or cocktail I'm striving to experience on any given day! I recommend her Ancho/White Chocolate Tequila concoction, it's a delight! Go visit her and tell her I sent you. Cheers!✌🏼🍸

I found Easy Bar while searching for somewhere to spend some time after our show was over in the neighborhood. Turns out Wednesday evenings they host comedy open mic in the back.
My compliments here are to the comedians I was able to see perform and the host especially. The way he closed out his brief opening set had myself and others in tears. Not the tears that laughter provokes, but an emotional depth that I assume took an insane amount of courage to speak in front of a room of people. I traveled into the city last night to feel and experience something different from my day to day and it just so happened to be three words. Chocolate covered knives.

The woman in the flannel and white sox hat couldn’t have been more rude to us on a weeknight, claiming the bar was too loud to hear us. When people are just trying to relax, we’re looking for good company. I wouldn’t come here if I were you.

Came here on the recommendation of one of my coworkers and I was not disappointed. A tight space but we went on a Friday night and found a nice corner to ourselves. The DJ that night I think his name was DJ Jakemo absolutely stole the show though. An actual disc jockey with real vinyl equipment was a real pro really knew how to get the people going. One of the best DJs in town.

4 stars due to the recent change in not allowing dogs anymore. So sad and our pups are crushed as it used to be their favorite bar in Chicago. I’ve been coming here for 15 yrs before the area was super trendy and the expansion so it’s really unfortunate our pup will have to find another place to celebrate their birthdays.
So, came in here 2 weeks ago with husband and brother on a Sunday afternoon. Great time , service was great. Came back, Sunday afternoon, different tall blonde bartender, let my self and my brother know that we were talking too loud .. rudely said to quiet down as if this is a public library and not a bar. While music is loud you can’t hear people talk. Not only that but my brother is deaf in one ear. Ignorant much? She came back to apologize, but too late, should’ve thought about it before you spoke to us like children. Should she be fired…?.
