One of the most overhyped places in downtown. Everything is unnecessarily expensive. Food taste is mediocre and nothing special. I’d come here only for special cheeses and wine selection, but would skip of you are planning to have any kind of meal, except maybe the gelato bar.

I rarely write a bad review, but we were really disappointed in our time last night. We arrived around 7:30 and were disappointed to find out that all of the counter service options were closed down for the evening. The only option that was open was Pizza. We wanted a bit of variety so we ate in the sit down restaurant upstairs. Our server was great, but the food is expensive and not unique or memorable. We had two adult pasta meals, one kids meal, one salad & one glass of wine. We ended up getting gelato downstairs. The total for eating with our tip was $170. We found this to be way overpriced and had no idea it would be this expensive.

Eatly in Chicago is incredible like other locations I've been to. We ordered two dishes in a restaurant on the upper floor, which was perfect, as was the service in the restaurant.
Overall great experience at this place. I spent hours just browsing and ended having lunch as well as getting a coffee with some pastry. The upstairs restaurant pasta was very good, service from waitress was great as well. The coffee from the café downstairs leaves a lot to be desired. I haven’t been served an espresso milk drink this bad for a while, training or quality is definitely lacking for barista.

I really can’t believe service here. These people serve with 0 respect and worst attitude. Food is good over all but after this experience and pricy one I wording suggest anyone stopping by La vazza coffee stand. The only person kind was cleaning lady. Don’t even dare to ask about something.

This is a really cool spot for people to hang out and get it all wine, dine, shop!!! Came here with my bf and another couples. We went up stairs to use the restroom. Then ordered pizza and some pastas. The food was ok. The price is typical for Chicago. When we came downstairs we grabbed a couple of items and did a self check out. We love cannolis and highly recommend it. I’ve been looking for a real Sicily gelato and couldn’t find any since Berkeley, CA. Tables of samples spread out throughout the store. Overall it was an experience for us. Also, the bonus point for everyone at the dessert checkout. Exceptional service for Chicago. We are enjoying our experience so much.

My wife ordered a salad. I ordered lasagna. Salad arrived 20 minutes before the lasagna. The lasagna seemed as if it was just taken out of the freezer despite their claim for freshness. Waiter took no responsibility and manager acknowledged shortcomings and did the right thing.

Delicious food, impeccable customer service and a warm atmosphere. We hosted an event here and Maria was so incredibly helpful, making every step of the process effortless and she ensured we had a successful and wonderful event! They displayed a personalized sign for the event, helped pick the menu, checked in leading up to the event, Maria even took pictures during and set up our decorations for us. She really went above and beyond to make this perfect for us and cannot wait to return for the same event next year :)
