They closed for a week and a half and have not updated their online ordering at Toast, and have no message set up on their phone number. I only found out they were closed when I tried to pick up my order. The charge also went through on my card whose is now disputed.
The food is usually good,so very frustrating to see such an oversight on both no phone message set up and the Toast app left live.

This place is a gem. Their corned beef isn’t salty at all. Goes well with their bed of hash. Do not sleep on their English muffin. First bite, you can totally tell it’s different. Grew up on Thomas Edison’s English Muffin and will have a tough time not comparing. It was perfectly and evenly toasted on both sides of each side of the muffin. Nice ASMR btw. It’s been around since the 1950’s like Moon’s Sandwich Shop. If you’re a fan of Moon’s, come check this place out. It’s a nice place to check out if you’re within the area. Can’t wait to come back.

Food is great, service fast, prices not too bad. Very friendly place. A little noisy but very nice. Clean. Good coffee.

We loved everything about this place- I’ll dream about my hash and eggs. Felt like I walked through a Time Machine - this was everything I imagine a diner to be, only better.

Pretty nice place to eat breakfast. Staff seems to like people. The food seems to be made from scratch as opposed to wholesale premade stuff most places warm up. I would highly recommend

We attended tonight’s Finer Diner and loved the experience. They were all very attentive and personable. Maybe the best dining experience I’ve ever had. All the courses were amazing. I hope it continues.

Excellent tiny breakfast joint every neighborhood needs. When every patron leaving the place says to the owner “see you next week”, you know it’s a good place. A wide array of omelet dishes and pancakes are quite good. Parking can get tricky by late morning on Sundays. Few non-counter tables are only for two so it is not an ideal place for large parties. Nevertheless, a prefect breakfast place on weekends. Highly recommended.

When in on a whim after a couple years of not coming into this place. The new owner is incredible loves to be a chef I can totally tell. The food was out of this world I was originally going to order my usual when I go to breakfast places instead he ran off the list of specials and it was too enticing not to choose at least one. Thankfully I did and it was probably one of the greatest sandwiches I've ever had in my life.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My elderly mother just moved into the neighborhood this week, and we were excited to explore local spots she could walk to regularly. We came across this charming-looking coffee shop and decided to stop in for breakfast. It seemed like the perfect place—until we experienced the service.
We sat at the bar area, and a man who appeared to be a staff member came over to place our silverware and placemats. My mother politely said, “Good morning, can we start with coffee?” To our shock, he completely lost his temper. He loudly snapped, “How about you freaking wait and be civilized. You need to do things in the order I say,” before slamming the silverware down and walking away.
I was furious, and my mother was left embarrassed and visibly shaken. She was almost in tears. Thankfully, another staff member came over and was very kind, but the man from earlier stayed in the back and stared at us the entire time, making the rest of our visit extremely uncomfortable.
The food was mediocre at best, but the service—particularly that initial interaction—was unacceptable and upsetting. I’ll be sharing this experience with others, as I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially those looking for a friendly neighborhood spot.
