I tried this place twice and both times I was disappointed. The food is bland and tasteless and the service was terrible. I ordered a soup for an appetizer. It came out cold. I asked for it to be reheated. The waitress obliged brought it back to my table but It was still cold. Then my breakfast arrived it was cold eggs, and cold bacon. The chop salad my spouse ordered was wilted lettuce, burnt bacon tasteless chicken and a half an avocado thrown in to a big bowl. I used to visit this place when it was Melrose many years ago, Sadly I’m going to have to find another diner in the area. I see that you have responded. No one ever snapped fingers at anybody that’s false.

This is our third time in recent history coming here for breakfast. It does not disappoint. The service and atmosphere is always great, food is usually really good as well.

Rolled into Eggsperience Cafe in Lakeview this morning—grabbed their signature breakfast burrito, a stack of blueberry pancakes, and a vanilla milkshake, about $27 total. Staff was chill and super welcoming. Food hit all the right nostalgic vibes, pancakes were fluff for real, and the shake was thick and creamy. Love this neighborhood gem.
