This is a great stop before a Bears game! 10/10 recommend the Eggy's Benedict, it's one of the best things I've ever eaten!

4.5 stars is not accurate. Their eggs are COVERED in butter, and left me feeling empty and not filled about 30 mins after leaving.

Black coffee drinkers, they do have good coffee, and give you a whole pot to yourself. It’s not that hot though.

Great place for breakfast or brunch! They replaced my omelette no questions asked to a completely different one just because I found mine too spice.

Came on a rainy day after 10am (breakfast rush hour?). Whole place was packed. There were two of us so they put us within intimate range of others. So don't expect a lot of elbow room. Food was pretty good.
Now the bad, the party next to us was a table of four.. of course since their table budded up against ours, we noticed a small roach crawling along the edge of their table. We told them and the waiters. Fortunately, the waiter killed it.
If we saw the one, that means they probably have a problem and need to take care of any infestation they have.
We were visiting Chicago from out of town. I hope this is just a one time thing with them and that generally they are pest free.

Food was excellent, nice atmosphere. My husband had an omelette and it was amazing, i had the biscuit Benedict and it was also delicious. However, My 9yo ordered the pancakes from the kids menu and in the menu there was no mention of blueberries in the pancakes (which she really doesn't like), but they were blueberry pancakes - so for her was a bit frustrating, but she picked them out. Service could be a bit friendlier, but was fast and efficient.

Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is yummy and varied and portions are good. But there should be more clarity, for example the silver dollar pancakes are blueberry pancakes.

Had the Eggy’s Benedict. Pretty dry and flavorless. One egg was cooked properly the other had a hard yolk. IMO this place is not worth the hype and way overpriced.

Very nice breakfast with good service. My only critism would be the potatoes, way over seasoned it makes them dry / powdery. Overall, we had a very nice breakfast here.

Not the cheapest compared to some places but worth the value. The eggs and meat is a good option. The cinnamon roll pancake were very sweet, a tiny bit less and they would have been perfect.
