I went with my Family for breakfast/ lunch on Sunday. It was full house. Food was delicious. We have to wait to order but food came out beautiful. I recommend you to try this place if you are in the neighborhood.

Ravenswood Breakfast House is a cute and quite small breakfast and brunch place. Good coffee, great breakfast dishes. My favorite is their Basil Omelette, but everything I have had on their menu has been delicious! Service is fast and friendly. Remember, the dining area is small. Not a place for large groups, but a great breakfast place nonetheless.Kid-friendliness: From my observations, Ravenswood Breakfast House welcomes children of any age. This is a small restaurant with a small dining area, so it's not great for kids who like to get out of the chair and run around, but they are otherwise accommodating for families with kids.

Whether you're in the Ravenswood neighborhood or not, this is a breakfast spot you should definitely add to your list of places to try. With a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, the service was fast, friendly and attentive. Looking at the menu, I wanted to try everything - from the chilaquiles to the breakfast sandwiches to the french toasts. I ended up going with Ricotta french toast which was a great call. But honestly I don't think you could make a bad choice here. This is a spot we'll be back to, even living in the Loop, it's worth the train or drive up!10/10 all around, a must try!

Not sure why this place has such good reviews. We went on a Sunday morning, and it was crowded and really noisy. When our food arrived, the toast was cold, the scrambled egg dish was bland and unseasoned. Five minutes after it arrived, the waiter plunked down the check without being asked for it. Not a wam welcome to say the least.

This is a wonderful brunch spot in Ravenswood. So wonderful, that if you're coming on the weekend, you should make a reservation because it gets crowded quickly. We got lucky by arriving at 11:15 am on Sunday and got a table for two by the window. I ordered the Denver omelet with toast and hash browns that also came with a small side salad. It was tasty, filling, and probably healthier than what I would normally order. The table next to us had some chocolatey french toast or pancakes, they looked gooey and delicious, but I was quite pleased with my own selection. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

This is an absolutely darling breakfast place with delicious food. I had a breakfast scramble with chorizo and my friends enjoyed their pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The menu had a diverse range of breakfast options like Thai eggs and chilaquiles in addition to the more traditional fair. I highly recommend a breakfast or brunch here.

Pancakes were so fluffy and good. Food and service were quick but you should expect to wait a little while for your table. Worth it for the value.

In a city as large and diverse as Chicago there are SO many choices for breakfast, but we have discovered one of the very best. It’s good enough that we would drive there from a distance rather than walk to a local place. The selections are top notch, everything is cooked fresh, and the servers helpful and efficient. It’s not a big place, but worth waiting for. Beware the crazy heavy door – you could mistake it for being locked, but just pull hard!
