Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try and we loved it! Well priced, high-quality rolls and friendly staff. Ingredients were fresh and portion were very generous, especially compared to other comparable places around the area. Surprised this place wasn't super busy since we went during peak hours on a Friday evening. What a shame. It's definitely a hidden gem. If you're reading this review you definitely have to try it, you won't be disappointed!

We stumbled upon Sushi Hochi on open table since most places were booked or closed. The restaurant was nice and quiet. The sushi was delicious, probably one if the best sushi's I've had. The server was also the owner of the restaurant and he was super friendly. He made our experience superb. I will totally go back when I'm in Chicago again.
Food was incredible & the server was the only one there it seemed - but he was amazing!! Please continue to support business in Chicago! We will be coming back again!!! My roommate and I split 5 rolls annnd jt was MORE than enough. Well priced and significantly better than a lot of the places we have indulged at. The place is BYOB and there's a grocer next door to buy wine/beers if needed!

Ordered delivery and everything looked great, presentation was on point and flavors were good. Only gripe would be the fish portions. The rainbow roll was basically all rice with a sliver of fish on top, it was disappointing. The other roll was tasty, just a lot of rice! Maybe an off night so want to give the benefit of the doubt...

Stumbled upon this gem after my mani/pedi. So glad I decided to give it a try. The sushi rolls were delicious, and the fish super fresh. I ordered the spicy scallop and drunken roll (thanks to the other reviews). I honestly loved the spicy scallop a tad bit more. Definitely a must try.

Ordered pick up and was ready in 15 minutes! The food was super fresh and tasted amazing. The truffle edamame is to die for. I'm a vegetarian so I only got veggie rolls but they were incredible. Not sure if this place is new but so glad I found it. Will definitely be coming back!

This is the best carryout vegan sushi we have had yet. The food is extremely fresh and tasty. We could feel the love in the food. And the staff is super friendly. I hardly ever put anything on Yelp. But I wanted to do them a solid. They deserves it.

Man, the sushi was good here. I asked if they could make the miso spicy and they did! The chefs special was the Red Spider and it was the delicious. All around great. The chef makes good sushi. And the server was great too!

I went on the website for EJ Sushi on 6/2/20, website said they were open so I placed an online order and drove there only to find that they are closed and their phone number is out of order! How is this place still accepting online orders when they aren't open!! Close your website!

We try and support local one time a week and this week we noticed this opened so we gave it a shot. We tried 4 different rolls, two specialty and two regular. They were fresh and flavorful! Simple menu, great prices and delicious. Do yourself a favor and try it! You won’t regret it.
