El Azteca Mexican Restaurant

The fact that their taco truck parks in residential areas until 4 in the morning is ridiculous. They have no regards for their loud generators or bright blue lights being DIRECTLY under bedrooms. I wouldn’t mind if it was occasionally, but the fact that this is every Friday and Saturday until 5 am sometimes is crazy. I did bother to try them out a few times and the food wasn’t even that good. They don’t listen to special requests: out of the 3 times I tried them each time they ignored my request for no queso on the beans due to an allergy. At this point I just need them to move to another damn corner 😂

I haven't been to this place for YEARS ever since I moved to a new location. I came here since I was around and OMG the tacos, rice, and beans were hitting the SPOT! SO Flavorful...like the beans was a salt away of giving you high blood pressure...but baby it was seasoned. The corn tortillas were so good and tasted fresh out of Mexico ??. Chicago has many taco places but this one is a must if you're in the area. Besides the free tortilla chips and salsa is a bonus, any other place that don't do that are cheap lol ?

Been looking for a Mexican restaurant that serves handmade flour tortillas. I found this place online. And said it made their own flour tortillas. Only to find out they no longer offer them. The breakfast fare was bountiful. I ordered chorizo with eggs. Chorizo was overcooked. My stepfather ordered huevos a la Mexicana. A lot of ingredients. I forgot what my mother ordered. Lots of food large square dinner plates. Coffee was great. Cafe de la olla. Might return for dinner. But still looking for a restaurant on the North side that makes flour tortillas.

Ordered from Uber Eats a couple nights ago and this is what I got. I don’t know if this is blue mold on the tortillas but they were disgusting and hard. They need to be inspected by the dept. of public health because I have never seen something like this in my life. Just gross, I wouldn’t recommend risking your health to try this place.
