Best bagel sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Definitely grab their steak and eggs, carnival and cubano bagel. Breakfast tacos are also fire. Staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful especially Austin.

Great bagel spot! Great bagels are so hard to find here in the city but El Bagelero absolutely scratches that itch. Quick service counter style with a few table if you choose to eat in. With plenty of bagel flavors and cream cheese options. I recommend the BEC sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bagel - yum!! Despite being busy on a prime Sunday morning, the line moved quickly and service was very quick and friendly.

Everything bagels are sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, dried garlic, and salt. Their everything bagel is black and white sesame seeds... That's a sesame bagel. It was pretty flavorless make sure to bring your own salt

Good bagels, good lox, good everything. All ingredients are fresh, high quality and well made. The pico de gallo on the Classico is incredible. I was skeptical about breaking with convention but this place does it so well I can’t even be mad. The breakfast bagels are phenomenal too. Worth the price.

Simple shop that exceeded all of my expectations. I had the los carnitas bagel and it was tip top. The bagel was delicious with a great texture and the perfect heat level ( jalapeño & cheddar bagel) and the toppings ( especially the actual carnitas) were in perfect balance. A bit slow on a Monday morning and I'm surprised that there wasn't a line... even on a Monday. Fantastic!

Felipe is extremely nice! I’m definitely becoming a regular. Some of the best breakfast food in Chicago. Fair prices too. We got a free item since we got there a little before close. So nice of them to not throw it away. The tacos are my favorite! Not a frequent reviewer but this is one of my favorite places.
