Quality of food is okay. Seems to have dropped off. Shrimp seem to be lower grade. Steaks cooked excellent .veggies were ok a bit undercooked. AVOID MAGARITAS PREMADE WITH SUB STANDARD TEQUILA. PITCHERS ARE TINY NOW . tasted like spoons of sugar poured into drinks. Salsa authentic and pack heat. Staff is attentive and quick. Weekend very crowded and loud.. overall nice spot for dinner e picky on mixed drinks.🍻
I used to love going to this place with family. We were there today the food was not good, the flavors were off the tostada ceviches tasted like perfume or something but I wouldn’t recommend this place. So sad to had paid so much for not such great food.
So we’ve been coming here for a while. Recently we’ve noticed the portions have lessened and most importantly the pitchers of margaritas became mini in comparison to what they use to serve. I’m hoping this is all temporary and they revert to the old El Barco. The waitress was very pleasant but way over her head with tables since there was no help. I will continue to support this business regardless but saddening by the changes.
