I usually don’t write negative reviews, and I try my best to be as non biased as possible. This place wasn’t welcoming at all, they took forever to prepare the food when it wasn’t busy on a weekday, and when they did serve me it was cold. I can’t see myself dining here ever again, but you get what you pay for. I’d much rather recommend Taqueria Los Alamos, or really any restaurant close by. I hope other customers had a better experience than me, but here’s only hoping.

A nice quiet spot with some yummy Mexican food. All the portions were big and you can easily share any of the sides with two or more people! The service was very nice and all their food was flavorful. You can order for takeout or sit down and have a meal. They have a few tables available. 10/10

This spot is definitely a hidden gem and feels like a true mom-and-pop operation. I decided to step outside my usual go-to places and give this one a shot after seeing some great reviews—and I’m really glad I did.
As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by (what I assume is) one of the owners—an older woman who immediately made me feel like I was walking into my grandma’s house. She was so kind and welcoming, which really set the tone.
I ordered the green chilaquiles with steak, and when she asked if I liked it spicy, I confidently said yes—probably too confidently! It had a serious kick, but the flavor was absolutely on point. No regrets.
I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Bonus points for how conveniently it’s located right off the Damen Pink Line.

Our go to taco spot! The lengua tacos are 🔥🔥🔥 and I’ve never been disappointed by any of their food!
I Came Wednesday around 2pm and the cashier was great! Didn’t get her name sweet lady very polite and patient with my order! Give the cheap props too because they have the best tripa tacos in the city so far🙏
First time here... got 3 gorditas. They were average.. the not so good thing about it is that they put beans in the filling with the meat..😒 they are pricey $6 for each one and to get beans instead of meat in it is not worthy... I might go back and. Try other dishes hopefully it has meat this time
