I have lived in Roger Park for more that half my life. Suddenly they want me to think I'm crazy by switching locations with Rockys tacos. El famous was on the actual corner of clark and greenleaf. Well they have switched SMH. Then the food has lost its ALL its flavor, burritos/taco are way more beans 🫘as fillers, even the rice is stale and flavorless. Cheaper in cost with labor and ingredients to do at home. If you can help it, order directly not through apps. You will save yourself more.

This place is and always has been such a blessing to me. I’ve been coming here for years! Service is ALWAYS amazing, it’s so peaceful every time I go in. The food speaks for itself. They always have the best music playing too. I just overall genuinely thank this place for existing. Today while picking up an order, it was the usual normal interaction, but today I appreciated it more than ever. Some normalcy was needed and they provided that for me. Great atmosphere and customer service goes a long way. Legit love these guys. <3 thank you all!

Food here is perfect every time, churros are consistently the best I've had. Can't recommend enough.

Ordered the Enchiladas Verde to go, and got Rioja which I am not a fan. It was disappointing

They put huge chunks of raw onion on top, way too much, and it completely overpowered everything else. The flavor of the meat and tortilla gets lost because all you taste is onion. It honestly felt lazy, like they just threw giant pieces on without even chopping them properly.

We came on Sunday and the tacos were 1.99 each. They were amazing and they have free nachos. This meal was very fulfilling for two people

I Had a Long Day and Had Not Eaten Dinner Yet...I Called El Famous Burrito at 10:55...Didn't Realize 5 Minutes Before They Closed

The Person Answered the Phone Took My Order and Was Ready When I Walked in 10 Minutes Later.

I Thanked the Employee and Told Him I Appreciated The Thoughtfulness of Them Taking My Order Before Closing

Also The Food Was Delicious...I Ordered a Steak Burrito 🌯

Horrible customer service skill. They will refuse to make you a fresh churro and try to convince you that the churros in the windows are fresh when they’ve been sitting there for hours
