I went there for years. It was my go to until they closed. In college their vegetarian and other burritos got me through on a budget and taste fantastic. They never over powered you with cilantro or hot peppers unless you requested it.

Its not called El Gordo anymore. but the food is the same. delicious. One of the owner used to be the cook there, he still cooks. so the same menu. Highly recommend,

This place has "ALWAYS" had great food, I love this place but I had recently moved into the neighborhood and went there again and I had forgotten how great their Taco's were and the food was delicious.

The orders are with heavy grease. Flautas, do not order beef. The beef is not shared therefore the meat is hard, with no flavor. Just order chicken flautas. I believe there great Mexican taste is not their as before. Thank you for your service.
