This place is dangerous in that the food and drinks are so great you will empty your wallet and be happy about it. Everything is too good that you just keep eating and drinking.

This is one of those classic Mexican joints, with quality food and margs that are unique (hint: they use lemon juice). Not a Wrigley resident, but I LOVED my green chile enchiladas. Also the view of sports with a
muscle-bound Mexican and semi-naked
Mexican woman was well worth the price of admission.

I’m Mexican so I know the real deal. This food was so delicious especially the carne asada it melts in your mouth. It didn’t have any fat on the meat like most restaurants. The staff were excellent and very clean with awesome decor! I will definitely return.

I had a slightly bad experience last time was here, but that was about 10 years ago. I just ate there today. The mole is excellent. The margarita was excellent— slight sour and not too sweet. Exactly how I like it. My server/bartender Jesus made me feel at home. Everything was fast and excellent quality. I need to start going back again. And the house margarita and the mole sauce are both made in house. I think you’d enjoy it quite a bit definitely give this shop a try!

Average at best and over priced. Didn’t even get chips and salsa as I guess you need to purchase. Everything looked very dated. One and done.

$20 margaritas are a no-go for me. Waiter was great. Food and drinks overpriced for sure. Atmosphere is cute. I have to stress again that this place is confusingly overpriced.

I had an incredible experience at El Jardin, a family-owned Mexican restaurant located at 3335 N Clark St, Chicago. From the moment we walked in, you can tell this is a place run with love and passion for authentic Mexican cuisine.
I ordered the Carne Asada plate, and it was absolutely delicious perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. My son enjoyed his mole plate, which he said was so flavorful, and his shrimp plate was just right not too spicy, just the right amount of heat. We also shared two plates of nachos, which were cheesy, crispy, and packed with flavor. Everything was fresh and incredibly tasty.
The service was good friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Plus, there's plenty of parking available, which made our visit even more convenient. It’s clear that this restaurant is a labor of love from a family I’m related to, and it truly shows in the quality of the food.
If you’re in Chicago and craving authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend stopping by El Jardin. You won’t regret it I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Lived in Chicago my whole life never knew this place was here and it's been there family run for 58 years...
Owners are friendly and so is the staff, they recognize long time customers and know what they order.
Food is cooked just right...
