My family are regulars here; At least twice a month. The tortillas are hand made and we always leave with some to snack on. Every dish I've tried is excellent. I love their green chicken pozole and the huevos con papas. Their Meundo(served every day), and salsa negra are tasty as well.
I recently stopped by El Kaporal Restaurant and was blown away by how flavorful and satisfying the food was. I ordered two asada gorditas, and every bite was pure joy. The gorditas came generously filled with tender, perfectly seasoned carne asada, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, and a good dollop of sour cream. The balance of textures was spot on, the crispness of the vegetables, the creamy tang from the sour cream, and the slight chewiness of the gordita shell worked in perfect...
