A staff member at our hotel recommended this place for authentic Mexican food. It was a bit of a treck from our hotel. But, worth it.
The food was so delicious and a big portion, too.
The margaritas were huge and equally delicious. The service was fast and very friendly.
The prices for our food was less than what we expected for such great food and amount of food.
Im definitely coming back to this place next time I'm in Chicago.

Okay food with predatory business practices. charged me a bit more than I should’ve been charged, price I was charged is way diff than the price on the menu and also they couldn’t give me my receipt until my food was served for whatever reason? I got take out by the way.
Charge $1.00+ for lime? I’ve never heard of paying a dollar for lime. I’ve been to so many Mexican restaurants and I’ve never paid $22
for two tacos rice and a drink, and If im paying $22 it at least comes with lime.
If you’d like to get scammed for some 5/10 food come here! :)

Most of the food was super good. Some of the fish was quite fishy/ dirty tasting but the other calamari was very good. Great corn tortillas

Stay away from the carne asada burrito. Not sure about the other items but I had probably 10 gnarly unchewable pieces in half of the burrito. Couldn’t finish. Don’t order asada burrito plz

Excuse me, but the stuffed chile tacos are bad, they don't cook them well, the chiles are raw when we are eating them, they crackle and they are very poor in cheese, so we have to pay attention to that...

The tacos were so good and nice portions but the mangonada and Pina coloda I got were icey water basically it felt like I came just for the mangonada and the sea food was mid no seasoning
went in here at about 9pm in hopes of finding a cake for my sister after dinner and wow!! they had tres leches which was absolutely amazing my sister loved it!! it reminded her a lot of birthdays from when she was younger and we’d always have tres leches. the staff was so kind here they put a candle on the cake and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday!! i got an horchata as well and it was very very delicious. i think this is a great spot right off the sheridan red line. though i didn’t eat here, i will most definitely be returning to try all sorts of things after how kind the staff was.

Kinda disappointed. I’ve had the aguchiles here before and they were good. However, this Sunday I had langostinos, they were over cooked and it was either that or the ceviche de Camaron, that gave me the runs.
It wasn’t even really ceviche, more like a cocktail de camaron. Tomato-y. And the empanada was worse. Like that exact ceviche with Tomatoe sauce was put in the empanada. No cheese. No sauce.
Will be sticking to the usual Costa, islas, and playa najarin. :/
I really wish I hadn’t spend 80$ on this order.
