El Pecado Mexican Restaurant

Do not order online! Twice now we have had issues. Most recently we went to pick up at 7:20 pm and they were locking the door. So no food and now trying to get money back from their online ordering system. They need to fix their online ordering and their hours. We like their food but think I’m done.

For some reason they don’t honor their store hours. Customer service has really declined: can never get through to them.

Sweet little place. We were here early on a Sunday morning and had the place to ourselves the staff/owners were so sweet to us!

Came with my husband and son for an early birthday dinner. Owners are a very sweet couple and the place is really nice and clean. I ordered grilled shrimp and it was just some plan shrimp that Wasn’t grilled food had no flavor. Had to ask the owner to take it back and redo it, which they were nice enough to do it.. my son ordered Carne Asada That was boiled Not grilled and very chewy once again, bland no flavor. Food was disappointing Definitely no plans to come back . And we were the only people there. Owners should consider replacing the cook. Prices were high but I don’t mind if food was outstanding .

I always have a flavorful, fresh tasting meal at El Pecado. Great ingredients and a presentation that befits the casual atmosphere without being sloppy. Last time, I visited they had some patio construction which I only point out because I really like the fairy-garden ambiance of the patio and missed it. This is some of the best Mexican food in a neighborhood with lots of options for this type of cuisine. Don't miss out!
