Stopped by for take out dinner - was excellent!! The tostadas were cleverly packaged, when I got home (2 miles later) they were still perfect. Food was fresh and delicious. We will be back!

Food is okay. $25.99 for 3 tacos + chips and guacamole. $12.99 for chips and guacamole making that more then the tacos alone. Ridiculous pricing. Save your money. Chicago needs to get their ish together. Price gouging your own people. Shame on them.

Perfecto!!! Most of the great Mexican restaurants in Rogers Park are BYOB. These margs are life changing! Yaaaas! So good!

The food was amazing also! We had the taco dinner and all the tacos were absolutely amazing.

Why is the girl at the checkout so angry? Hasn't anyone taught her to smile? Extremely rude service!

Service was questionable the moment I walked in there and the two servers had a very noticeable cold disposition. The server got my order wrong and still charged for the Cubano that I did ask for.
I don’t ever see myself coming back here with the energy that was displayed and poor execution of the order.
2/10 but wouldnt come back to waste my money again. And its a shame
I came to support local and latino owned and this is what i got. Not ideal.
Not a good way to spend our time or money. Now all the memory i have of pulpo loco is not good at all. Save ur$

Came here because I had a hankering for pozole and they did not disappointment. My friend had the green and I chose the red. Both were delicious. I will say they had a slight clove flavor, so if you're not a fan, you may not like it, but I found it to be deliciously different. Salsas were good and the chips were fresh. Started off with a shrimp ceviche tostada, it comes with mayo on it, I asked for no mayo, and that was fresh and had a really good flavor. Can't wait to go back and try their other items.

The best Mexican restaurant in the north side of Chicago! The seafood is fresh, the corundas and flautas exquisite! The food is an explosion of flavor in your mouth! The best part is the impeccable service. Betty was phenomenal! Her kindness, excellent customer service, and attentiveness made my experience simply perfect. Gracias Betty!

The food was insane, I’m Mexican myself and they had some great Mexican seafood going. Plates were large and could feed up to two people but would recommend just getting two plates and saving the leftovers

Really tasty and fresh seafood at this Mexican restaurant. We had guacamole, mixed ceviche, and fried spicy garlic red snapper. We enjoyed everything and think the portions were very large.

I did think that the ceviche had a bit too much tomato sauce which turned the dish a bit sweet. I would recommend only using 75% or the amount of sauce that is being used so that there is more focus on that fresh seafood. The fake crab is also not necessary we though.

The friend fish was very tasty and fried perfectly, but again, the sauce made it a bit sweeter than I’d like. The fish had a slightly fishy taste, but nothing crazy and I’m sure that can vary from dish to dish.

I came here genuinely excited to try the food—the photos looked incredible. I paid $26 for a taco dinner, a fish taco, and a Coke. When I brought the order to my car, I opened the bag to find the rice and beans had completely spilled into the tacos. Everything was a messy, soggy disaster.

I went back inside and politely asked if they could remake the plate since I had carefully carried the bag and wasn’t careless with it. Instead of understanding, they immediately got defensive and said it was my fault for how I handled it. I explained again that I was gentle with the bag, but they flat-out refused to remake the order.

At that point, I handed the food back and told them I didn’t even want it anymore. Ridiculously poor customer service for a $26 meal. I won’t be coming back.

I highly recommend checking your food before you leave—lesson learned.

I wish I had taken a photo of the plate before I handed it back, but I didn’t get the chance. Just from first glance, the steak looked disgustingly greasy, and the meat looked stringy and tough—honestly unappetizing and borderline inedible. Nothing about it looked fresh or worth $26.

If I could give 0 stars, I would—for their absolute lack of respect, responsibility, and basic decency.

Carne asada, shrimp, pastor tacos were incredible. Pulpo (octopus) tostada was also amazing. Excellent horchata and great jamaica… lastly the house salsas were AMAZING! Much better than the other salsas I’ve tasted! Def come here!
