was recommend by a friend not sure to be mad at him or the restauran..... if your looking for an appetizer with a 5 star bill this is the place! you will get lemonade Stand portions, but wait there's more!!!!!!!!!! you will pay full price!

It's very nice and friendly and clean place. The staff is very friendly. The food was good and delicious. I would recommend people to try this place. Also great for family.

I’ve been eating here for 10 years, over the years they have changed many things. However I do come here religiously because I love their food so much and I LOVE their salsa. Some of the staff here on certain visits they have been rude or will answer the phone and just leave you set down without acknowledging the call- it’s usually late so I stopped ordering after 10PM. During the days I always ask to speak to Jenny because she is the nicest person there!

in my opinion, El Rey was honestly some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. I went there on a trip for lunch and it was very enjoyable. As I did not want Mexican food, but El Rey food was very good and I enjoyed the taste the texture and the portions. The staff treated us very kindly even after a fellow mate of mine threw up. it was a very enjoyable space where we could be open to chat as loud as we wanted to. The bathrooms were very clean and the space was very open so you could have space from others. The booth where we sat at the seats were very big and could fit at least six people. Overall, a very good experience and I will be going again and recommending El Ray. Everyone who is complaining about proportions needs to go again because I don’t know when they went but El Rey’s proportions are so big. also very much, recommend the burrito de Pastor and El Carne en su jugo. they were to die for.

I've been here several times. The food is mediocre. The meat & beans needs more seasoning. Salt in particular. & they didn't have any hot salsas.

Came here to give it a second chance but unfortunately was disappointed once again. I had ordered a torta de pollo. Me reading everything I saw that they add crema and queso. Me being allergic I said to my server NO crema and NO queso. She nodded in agreement and I thought she had understood.
Fast forward food comes out and my torta has cheese. I talk with another server and kindly say that my torta has cheese when I said no cheese.
My server comes by the table all rude and said “you never said no cheese so how was I supposed to know you wanted no cheese”. I honestly was appalled by this kind of behavior and so was a family member who I had brought out to eat. If you make a mistake own up to it. We all make mistakes. But to basically call me a liar for something YOU messed up is ridiculous. Your staff needs to work on customer service.

Customer service was very bad, the server who took us had a visible attitude ( on multiple occasions) when taking our order. Gave us dirty to-go trays that had food residue and then when i went and told her about the to-go tray being dirty rolled her eyes and then made a gesture while walking back to get a new ones

I had been a client for years and their downfall is insane. I recently ordered costillas de puerco in salsa verde and their portion for previous order compared to what i got is unacceptable. $50 dollars for two plates that are 1/4 of the portioning than before.

I’m a frequent in this restaurant but I usually take out. The place is really pretty, the atmosphere is so well done here, the music is extremely fitting, and they even have TVs for the most important games! As for the food, it is pretty good specially the apastor ones. I do say during the week the food is pretty dry BUT if you go on Sundays expect your food to taste extra tasty cause that day the cooks are better. Overall I really recommend!

I don't like giving bad comments because like all companies, mine also receive reviews. I ordered it twice, the first time it went very well, no errors, everything was fine 👍🏼 this time I understand it was from another company. When the delivery driver brought the food I asked him if he is sure it is the order he said if it is what they gave the order it looked very small to what we ordered. I called the place and the lady who answered was friendly but then became defensive. I asked to speak to the manager, he told me to wait and then he said that I can go see the cameras if I like. I told him that I cannot leave my position. pass because it was not found. I called again and I could hear her explaining the problem to a man, the man who answered very aggressively and began to talk to the defense on the phone that if I want I can go see the cameras that are there but nothing professional to be a manager or to pass as a manager What had happened, neither one of them was kind, nor were they inconsiderable. They blamed the driver. It wasn't a good experience at all.

Order pescado, steak and shrimp tacos, overall delicious and tasty but I will recommend the steak and the fish tacos. Will comeback soon
