This place use to be the heart of tamales, champurrado, and arroz con leche. As of lately, the tamales are full of more masa then anything and drinks aren’t good. Why? People spend great money here. I have spent plenty over the years but these last few times I am saddened. Please fix this

Tamales were delicious. Full of flavor and taste. They were big. The seasoning and the ingredients made these tamales delicious. The chiles used for these tamales made it flavorful.

This tamales used to be so good. I don’t like them anymore they are dry no taste at all. The Mole tamales are horrible. I taught they prepared the mole but they just put it from the container. The only ones good are the sweet tamales.

I used to love these tamales. They were hands down the best. However, recently they have been more masa and less meat. Also super dry. Don’t think I’ll buy here again. It’s so disappointing. Especially since I’ve bought from them when they used to have a cart on Tripp. Giving 2 stars because their arroz con leche was delicious.
Best tamales I have tryed good flavor and perfect portions. Green isn't very spicy, just the way I like them.
Clean kitchen and dining area overall. I’ve been coming here for years, even before! They used to stand outside of the Jimenez store. They used to be very spicy and full of chicken. Now there’s hardly any flavor or protein in them yet prices are insanely expensive, which I get with our current state in food prices. But I’d expect quality to remain the same or even better.
The masa is sometimes salty, it’s definitely a hit or miss. The staff is extremely nice which is a plus! But they could do better 💔
Tamales have definitely changed through the 20 years. I was really disappointed this time around. Sorry guys cause I love the family. The green were not spicy at all. The masa was super dry. The Rajas had such a bitter taste and were flavorless. The Rajas were rock hard. I miss your mom making the Tamales. Since it's became the store I have seen how the flavor has changed so much. I think mom needs to put her hands back on the Tamales. Sorry guys but probably the last 2 years my Tamales keep getting worse. I don't know if because they are being such mass produced but please have mom taste them and put her touches back on them. Please!

This are some of the worst tamales I have had, they are so dry and they barely have any filling, the rajas one is extreme dry and way too much dough. I will not purchase here again, this was our 1st time buying from this place and it will surely be the last time.

Best tamales and great arroz con leche. 3 tamales and a small arroz con leche for only $5 flat! (Original review was in 2018) Now I hear a dozen is $30. They’re out of their minds.
People are right places overpriced. Price's are not posted any of the employees could just change the price. $15 for 1/2 dozens$2.50 a tamale. Will not be back. A lack of meat is all
