I used to love these tamales. They were hands down the best. However, recently they have been more masa and less meat. Also super dry. Don’t think I’ll buy here again. It’s so disappointing. Especially since I’ve bought from them when they used to have a cart on Tripp. Giving 2 stars because their arroz con leche was delicious.

Clean kitchen and dining area overall. I’ve been coming here for years, even before! They used to stand outside of the Jimenez store. They used to be very spicy and full of chicken. Now there’s hardly any flavor or protein in them yet prices are insanely expensive, which I get with our current state in food prices. But I’d expect quality to remain the same or even better.
The masa is sometimes salty, it’s definitely a hit or miss. The staff is extremely nice which is a plus! But they could do better 💔

Tamales have definitely changed through the 20 years. I was really disappointed this time around. Sorry guys cause I love the family. The green were not spicy at all. The masa was super dry. The Rajas had such a bitter taste and were flavorless. The Rajas were rock hard. I miss your mom making the Tamales. Since it's became the store I have seen how the flavor has changed so much. I think mom needs to put her hands back on the Tamales. Sorry guys but probably the last 2 years my Tamales keep getting worse. I don't know if because they are being such mass produced but please have mom taste them and put her touches back on them. Please!

This are some of the worst tamales I have had, they are so dry and they barely have any filling, the rajas one is extreme dry and way too much dough. I will not purchase here again, this was our 1st time buying from this place and it will surely be the last time.

People are right places overpriced. Price's are not posted any of the employees could just change the price. $15 for 1/2 dozens$2.50 a tamale. Will not be back. A lack of meat is all

The truth is they are good but very expensive a dozen 30 dollars it is understood that the procedure is a lot but what has been done since they started selling it does not change things, the gas is already there if it were very expensive they would not even be there because of how expensive it is, the The way they buy dough is much cheaper and the meat, they don't go to the store they go to places where the meat is cheaper. The truth is THEIR PRICE IS EXAGGERATELY AND THEY LOOK LIKE HOMEOWNERS THEY WANT TO GET OUT WHAT MOST YOU CAN WITH ONE.
