Tamales have definitely changed through the 20 years. I was really disappointed this time around. Sorry guys cause I love the family. The green were not spicy at all. The masa was super dry. The Rajas had such a bitter taste and were flavorless. The Rajas were rock hard. I miss your mom making the Tamales. Since it's became the store I have seen how the flavor has changed so much. If you're a Mexican Tamales fan, this is the place! The tamales are good prices and worth it. I love that they don't cut down the size of thier tamales. Highly recommended 👌
I have come here for years. Last few times have been bad. As you can see mostly all masa and very dry. Also I know inflation but it's super expensive now. I got 2 tamales. 1 soda. 1 arroz. $18. ? I will not go back.
