Solazo offers a beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food and drinks. The Beber, Comer, Querer motto is reflected in their on-point drinks, legit Al Pastor, and must-try Chocolate Tres Leche. The tortillas are pillowy soft and flavorful, and the queso fundito with chorizo is fabulous. The shrimp in the asada could use improvement in quality and size, but the overall experience is enjoyable. The margaritas are yummy, and the vibrant ambiance along with friendly service makes it a hidden treasure for both locals and visitors. Visitors can relax on the patio and enjoy generous portions, even if some dishes may be a bit pricier. The restaurant is a clean, youthful spot with tables spaced well, and the staff are helpful and well-trained. The handmade corn tortillas are thick and able to hold food well. The steak is cooked perfectly and seasoned well, while the rice and beans make great sides. Tacos are okay but small, and the burrito is tasty but on the small side. It is a great date spot with a lively background of oldies and classic Spanish music. While parking can be sketchy, street parking is free outside. Drinks are well-made, but mixed drinks can be loaded with ice and are priced similarly to downtown locations. The breakfast menu features the Steak Skillet with flavorful homemade tortillas and the Desayuno Solazo, which is large enough to keep guests full until dinner. Service is consistently excellent, and the establishment maintains high cleanliness standards. Overall, Solazo provides a unique dining experience that combines tasty food, good drinks, and a vibrant, friendly atmosphere.
