I’ve been coming here for over two years, and it’s still as exceptional as ever. It’s a high-end diner that could thrive anywhere, yet it feels perfectly at home right here in Pilsen. I can't get enough of their tortillas. I would eat them by themselves and be perfectly happy honestly. Everything is so good; super sophisticated flavors in a really welcoming/comfortable setting. The coca cola tacos live up to the hype.
El Taco Azteca in Pilsen is a solid spot for flavorful Mexican eats with a modern twist. I stopped by for dinner and spent around $25. I tried their al pastor tacos on blue corn tortillas, which were juicy and packed with flavor. The guacamole with ribeye was a standout—rich, smoky, and topped with grilled panela cheese. The atmosphere is chill, and the staff is friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

So I’ve been here before and tacos were amazing and everything was amazing I finally decided to come back today and not sure what happened or why they sadly disappointed me today I did order a octopus guacamole and it was 8.5/10 the position was just so small for the price. I then ordered a margarita and it was delicious solid 9/10. I then ordered some Coca-Cola Tacos Hoping to get that same portion/flavor as before and they disappointed me this time I tasted more salad than meat and I promise you this wasn’t the same tacos as last time it was not good to say the least giving that a 6/10 had some flavor just not what it should be. I then ordered the michelada Tacos and they were actually good I won’t lie they did good solid 8/10 could’ve been better and not disappointed with those.
To say the least hopefully they can go back to serving the same Coca-Cola tacos as before and slightly lower pricing on some of the items giving this place a solid 6.8/10
