These taconazo places are really overpriced for salty food. It wasn’t the greatest for the amount they charge. Not to mention the service. I’m sure management is horrible the way the employees act. They literally have to charge you for every thing and they have a horrible attitude about it. Food was good once upon a time.

I ordered a large fresh squeezed orange juice around 8:30 pm 09/26, took it home put it in the fridge for a hour because it was warm, and I ate my steak torta with Horchata. One hour later I pulled out the large fresh squeezed orange juice out the fridge, took a sip, I could not drink the juice,I t was very bitter like drinking orange peel juice with lemons. I do remember seeing a jug of orange juice that was sitting on the counter at Taconazos before I ordered the juice l, it had about 12 oz, she must have given me what was in the jug and mixed it with some more orange juice. I normally would not have made a big deal but I paid like $8 for a 32 oz jug and I expect to get what I paid for and times are tough this place also charges a service fee and is expensive. I am now with the jug at Taconazos it's the next day 9:00, I am trying to get a refund but they said they can't do anything, so I have to wait for the next shift, that's why I am also making this review.

I have never dealt with such incompetence from a restaurant. I ordered through DoorDash, and after the first driver went the opposite way, my food was reassigned. The second driver picked it up and never delivered it frustrating, but not the restaurant’s fault. DoorDash then offered me a reorder (same items, fully paid for again).
When the restaurant contacted me, instead of fulfilling my PAID order, they flat out refused to give me my food with no real explanation. By the time I tried to reach out, they had canceled it completely. Absolutely unprofessional. How do you deny someone food that was already paid for TWICE?
This place has gone from decent to mediocre quickly. If you can’t handle simple customer service, you don’t deserve loyal customers. I won’t be ordering from here again plenty of taco spots that actually value people’s time and money.

Showed up during lunch and I had my order within 5 minutes. The service was great, the food was fresh & well seasoned, and there was plenty of parking!
This place was the absolute worst , we came in as a group, wanted to support local since we are not from here, we asked if we could do separate bills the lady was so rude and rolled her eyes when we asked. This restaurant was just so inconvenient and we explained nicely that we aren’t from here and that since there was many of us we wanted to split it, not the first time Chicago so far is disappointing when it comes to restaurants!

I dont usually eat out mexican food being mexican, let me tell u this place has some great tacos and about them tortas are amazing folled with the horchata water! Is a must try place for sure!highly recommend!!
