We made a reservation via open table and arrived early on a busy Saturday night before a show at the Chicago Theatre. They were packed but sat us immediately. Food was great, hot, and came out fast and we made it to our show on time!

I would try something other than their pies and Sunday roast. The roast was overcooked and the sides were okay. The pies were not typical British pies. It felt more like an American pit pie. So basically try anything other than the UK classics.

Two times I've been here while on business. The first night I didn't have a reservation and was asked if I would be able to order, eat and pay in 40 minutes. I went elsewhere. Night two I made a reservation and was asked the same thing. I said absolutely not. I have a reservation and took as much time as I wanted for my meal. It's rude to ask me to hurry up when I'm not even seated yet. I'm here. Others in the future that may or may never show up aren't....
