The staff were incredibly warm and genuinely kind. The burger was excellent—perfectly cooked—but the fries weren’t quite to our taste. That said, the decor and atmosphere were spot-on and truly delightful.

If you like the Blues, this is the place. Staff, atmosphere and food all top notch! You can reserve a table in advance (recommended) or show up. As for pricing, comparable to most chains, but food is soooo much better.

This spot was a hit with the whole family! Lively atmosphere, super-friendly staff, and a diverse menu with generous portions at fair prices. Just look at the photo below—my son devoured nearly three-quarters of his pancake stack topped with ice cream!

Bella Sicilia has consistently impressed me over my several visits over the years. Like being in Italy, the cuisine is genuinely authentic. A welcome diversion from the typical commercial eateries in the heart of the city. This is the place to go if you value authenticity and excellence. Returning is always a delight!

This is a nice spot if you're wanting a hearty breakfast on southern Michigan Ave. We were able to easily walk from our Hilton. Friendly service and very large portions.

Food is always real good and so are the Bloody Marys. Prices are a little too high for my liking

We were hoping to have a nice family meal, but it turned into one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had in Chicago. We asked for a table for four and a baby. The hostess led us inside, but they don’t allow strollers next to your table, so we were told to leave our baby’s stroller in a corner of the restaurant, which was already questionable, but fine.
The real problem started when we got to the table. The waitress refused to seat us because the fourth person in our group hadn’t arrived yet. She told us we had to go back to the entrance and stand there waiting, even though we were clearly holding a hungry one-year-old baby in our arms. The restaurant was half empty, yet she insisted on following this ridiculous policy.
Adults can wait, that’s not the point. But when you see parents carrying a hungry baby, basic empathy and flexibility should come before any policy. If a restaurant can’t show that kind of humanity toward a child, I can only imagine what other problems might exist behind the scenes, including how they handle food and how little accountability they must take if something goes wrong.
If you’re ever in Chicago, do yourself a favor and don’t even think about stopping at this place. There are plenty of restaurants that treat families with respect and common sense.

Really nice diner with all-day breakfast serving the typical American breakfast. Highly recommended. There are long lines, so plan ahead or go early.

Stopped while in town for to-go and walked it back to our hotel. Got the Zenith sandwich and some stuff for the kids including fries. Asked specifically, can we get ketchup for the fries. They said for sure. There was no ketchup so had to go on a separate ketchup mission. Fun. My Zenith sandwich had no thousand island either, which it's advertised as having on the menu. It could have been good, instead all I bought was a dry sandwich and ketchup problems.
