First time dining here. Was not bad but not great either. Fried calamari seemed a bit undercooked as it was pretty rubbery. Filet and stuffed Salmon were both tasty. Service was mediocre at best. When we ordered our entrees we were never offered any sides although I did hear our server ask the table behind us when he took their order if they would like any sides. My wife’s 2nd drink also took a long time to come out. The turtle cheesecake was very good. The issue I had at the end was when we received the check there was a total for paying cash and then another total for paying with a credit card. With our check it came out to a $7 difference or according to my math 5%. It seems like they are passing down the credit card fee to the consumer. I also do not remember seeing that listed on the menu anywhere. Had I know I would have brought cash. I have eaten at many restaurants and have seen a Covid surcharge as well as an auto gratuity added to the check but never a fee for paying with a credit card. Seems a bit of a shady practice.

Very high quality meal is definitely worth checking out! Considering the food is fairly priced for the location and taste great (pictured is one of the best seasoned fish I've ever tasted)

I eat a lot of steak. This was easily one of the best fillets I've ever had. We had a party of 12 and everyone was raving about their steak. The house dressing was amazing as well. The service was outstanding. I hope to be back soon.

This was our first time at Elliott's, and we absolutely loved it. The food was delicious; our server was lovely, and the cherry on the top was that my friend and I could enjoy our conversation because we could actually hear each other. I'm so glad that a friend suggested we go to Elliott's. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning.

When my sister lived in Chicago, we absolutely loved to dine at Elliots. Beautiful steak and wine service and memories. Loved the atmosphere. Next time I'm in Chicago you will see me there.

Elliot’s is a nice neighborhood restaurant. It’s cozy, good food and service. We had a great time.

This was not my first trip to this steakhouse. Unfortunately, much less gratifying than the last one.The ambiance is pleasant, dark, woody with brick, homy with oversized family-themed photographs. Typical set up with small bar up front, where you can wait for the rest of your party and a medium size dinning room. The dinning room has an electric fireplace. Nice touch, but make sure you are not seated right next to it else you burn!Well spaced tables covered with dark table cloth and (unfortunately) cheep piece of white paper. The stains show very vividly on that paper and by the time you are done, it looks like you very dining at Burrito King, not upscaled steakhouse. We ordered lobster bisque and french onion soup. Both delicious - bisque had a ton of lobster in it, the french onion was very flavorful. That was followed by Chilean bass and Porterhouse steak. The fish was tasty, in a silky smooth sauce. However the stake (ordered medium) was half well done and all significantly charred. The reason I gave it only tree stars was the service. The middle age lady server (who's English was really rudimentary and hard to understand) behaved as if she had no clue how to properly serve a meal. She spilled the wine when pouring it for testing, then she forgot to pour my companion; never once came to ask if we needed anything or how was the food (we had to drink each other water until a busboy delivered more); she dropped silverware; etc. etc. Not a service you would expect in a steakhouse that presumes to be one of the best in the neighborhood.

Food was pretty good! Space and service were very welcoming. We'll be returning again sometime soon.

The service was good but the food was very disappointing especially for the price. I got the 8oz filet ($42.95, $10 more than their website), it was ok. My husband ordered the Chilian Sea Bass ($42.95), it was a bit fishy and flavorless. The sides were good and reasonably priced as well as their house wine. The kicker of this all was the credit card use surcharge of $7 really bothered us. I don't mind paying a nice expensive dinner but adding a cc surcharge on top of this is crazy.

Great flavor on food just a nit over pricing but if you want good food you have to pay staff was awsome as well the only thing i dont agreed is on parking the have valet parking so you need to pay and if they dont have valet parking you have to pay per hour on the meter.

Very disappointing. Food is ok but very expensive. Service is not good. Never will be back here.

Love this place! Very friendly and attentive staff, solid food and a cozy warm environment. Melissa (one of their bartenders) always remembers your name and makes you feel welcome and at home. This is my 4th time here and it never disappoints! Check it out
