I usually like this place but I was charged $7 ($8 with tip) for a small hot chocolate 😠Like i get prices are rising but why is warm chocolate milk more than a regular latte? The prices are making hesitant about returning.

Food is a bit expensive but you can tell most of it is hand made and high quality, they don't seem to cut corners.
Employees seem to be friends, chatting while they work, which both feels cozy and a bit alienating as a customer. It's definitely a college student focused cafe. Lots of students working on laptops and meeting with friends.
Their bathroom has tampons and pads available, one of those small things that makes me feel cared for as a customer. No key code either.

Very nice coffee spot. Ordered there during all my stay and staff is nice, service is quick and coffee and hot chocolate are so good. Definitely will visit again when we come back to Chicago
Such a unwelcoming atmosphere. The management style is something not to be proud of as they clearing have no control over their employees. I got here right when it opened and they somehow lost my ticket and I was left waiting 30 minutes for a plain bagel and latte. When I asked why it took so long, the girl proceeded to roll her eyes at me and not answer my question. This has happened on 4 separate occasions for me, so I will not be coming back. I advise that you also do not visit this establishment as well, as it is not worth your time, energy, or money.

Coffee is excellent. It is my favorite flat white in town. Tried the cookies, but didn't think much of it. Curious to have breakfast there some time. They have a nice outside patio for the warm days.

I've been wanting to try this place for so long, and it wasn't a good experience at all. The service is so rude, not warm, welcoming, or friendly. There was an employee who kept agressively saying EXCUSE ME! loudly while pushing past my husband and I. She did it to us, but then i noticed she didn't do it to anyone else. The coffee shop is adorable but super small, and so we didn't have anywhere to stand, we were not trying to get in her way and apologized but she kept doing it. Our drinks probably took 20 minutes. It was an incredibly long wait, and several customers who came in after us got their drinks before. The drink itself was okay. I am so dissapointed because I was really looking forward to trying this place out! But the service is horrible and we were treated so rudely and the wait was so, so unbelievably long I don't think I will ever be back. :(
