I live super close to this coffee shop so my roommates and I would come often, but it seems like as of recently their system is just not working anymore. Every morning when I go I am waiting 45 minutes to get a coffee. Their bagels have always taken a while, but the last time I ordered one I had to wait quite literally 2 hours. I told them I was waiting, and I watched droves of people who ordered after me receive their bagels before me. When my bagel finally came out (2 hours after ordering) I was given no explanation for the wait. I loved this place and the staff is friendly, but my family and friends have decided that we need to find a cafe with a better system and faster service.

Very calm and relaxed atmosphere, also close to Truman College, making it a great place to study! Bagel sandwiches are delicious, and the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are immaculate. Cinnamon rolls are to die for too!
I will no longer be buying from here as they are violating the IL Consumer Fraud Act.
I have been coming here semi regularly for over a year. I just learned today they lie when I have ordered whole milk in my coffee. They have never carried whole milk. They mix skim and half and half. It sounds like a small thing on the surface, but if they lie about that, what other ingredients are they lying about? It has been multiple staff that said nothing over the past year.
I did notice the coffee wasn't as good as other places but just assumed it was the brew. I never imagined they were lying about the milk. I still supported them as it was convenient and a local business. No longer. Fraud is never okay.

A true bohemian coffee stop in the heart of Uptown. The breakfast tacos are unreal, and the coffee is pretty good too! I could spend a whole day in here people watching and writing.

I love this café and usually stop by most mornings for a drink while walking my dog around the neighborhood. The staff is always amazing, but today I had an unpleasant experience. A guy in a baseball cap, who was carrying pastries from the kitchen to the bar, was rude to both me and my dog while we were just waiting for our drinks at the station. Everyone else who works here has been great, but this guy needs to work on his attitude if he plans to stay in this industry. After this encounter, I’ll have to think twice before coming back for my morning coffee.

Such a unique fun environment with amazing offerings and the staff is on point.
This place is very cozy and inviting. I'm definitely coming back here to work, I love how dark it is inside and how the lighting is set. I got the caprese bagel sandwich with a Chai latte. Both excellent! Chocolate chip cookie is gross tho.

Wish they were open longer and had cheaper prices but overall very impressed. Staff was kind. WiFi worked well. Bathrooms were pretty clean and stocked. They even care for the homeless which I have not seen any coffee shop here do

Very solid artsy & community focused coffee cafe with specialty drinks, sandwiches, and breakfast tacos.
Coffee was great and some of the specialty drinks were very unique. The sandwich and pastry were also both delicious.
Cafe is double wide with additional seating and a piano in the second room. There are ample books, board games, and puzzles scattered about.
