Staff is really great and it’s a great community staple- home to neighbors and welcoming environment. Also host fun events sometimes. Seasonal drinks are fun and tasty also

Wanted to like this place as the vibe was so cozy and nice! The service was also kind and smiley. But my latte tasted like cardboard and the place definitely needed a deep clean :(

I have now gotten very sick twice after getting iced latte drinks from emerald city. I do not do dairy and I suspect that both times they’ve given me dairy instead of the oat milk as ordered. I know this is a possibility because the first time I went there I witnessed the barista poor whole milk in my drink and luckily was able to rectify it since I caught it in action. But the other 2 times, I trusted that the ā€œoatā€ written on my cup was enough. I urge the management here to ensure your staff is being mindful about dietary preferences. Unfortunately I can’t return because my stomach turns just passing this place.

Really like this place! My tea drink was on tasty, tho I'd recommend getting it unsweetened or with honey! Unfortunately they somehow deadnamed me to tell me they didn't have an ingredient, despite me giving them my name. So if the workers are reading! Please don't just read from the card info cos lots of ppl still have their legal name attached to that😤 otherwise the ppl there were nice n had a fun mini trivia thing at the register to participate in!

A super cool throw-back coffeehouse and I should know I’ve been going to them for over 59 years. Classic options for coffeehouse drinks and baked goods sandwiches. There’s funky seating books a piano and various nooks to cozy into. Highly recommended as an alternative reality or an adjunct to your high blood pressure meds.

Food was GREAT, service was Meh. Waited 15 mins for my food and drink and when I asked where my drink was the guy behind the counter said he forgot! Wild. Also gave the wrong drink to my friend and someone else took hers. Also the cider is just warmed up apple juice…I seen them grab the apple juice jug from the back and warm it up…not the experience I hoped for at all, and a waste of money.

I’ve tried this place twice as my boyfriend lives nearby, and both times I’ve had to throw away my latte after leaving because I could not stomach it. Truly the most rancid espresso shots I’ve ever had. I’ll give two stars for the atmosphere and kindness of the baristas though, but please dial in that machine better šŸ˜šŸ™

Great food and kind staff, this coffee shop is a community oriented space, and feels so welcoming. I love their iced americanos or cafe miels, and any of the bagels.

Takes 20 years to order, got a Bagel that was half raw dough, and coffee was pretty burnt too.

Emerald City Coffee is a cozy gem in Uptown that offers more than just great coffee. I visited on a Saturday morning and spent about $20. The iced latte was smooth and refreshing, and the zesty caprese bagel sandwich was a flavorful delight. I also tried the berry chocolate muffin, which was moist and packed with flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with local art on the walls and plenty of seating. It's a perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Emerald City Coffee is worth the visit.
