Came here for drinks with friends and had a great time! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with friendly staff and plenty of space to relax. Their drink selection was solid, and the food was amazing—definitely coming back to try it next time. Perfect spot in the Loop for a casual night out.
We had a great time enjoying fish and chips and Shepard pie. Good Irish fare. Friendly staff.
If it wasn't for our amazing server being so kind to us, we would've left and went somewhere else. We had reservations at opening time for Sunday brunch but when we arrived we got a very limited paper menu that had only 1 breakfast item. Our server was also confused about why the kitchen was refusing to do brunch as advertised. It was even advertised on the paper placemat. They wouldn't even do a grilled cheese for a kid, only what was on the menu. No flexibility. Our amazing beautiful hearted server was also being treated badly by her coworkers even though she was in the right. Won't be going back.
Really good Irish fare and cozy atmosphere. Service was attentive and swift. I'd definitely come back
Seated promptly for our dinner time reservation. It was Saturday night and a full house. I had looked at the menu early in the day and had my order planned ahead of time. They were unfortunately out of several items I asked for. No pretzel buns for the burgers, no root beer, no espresso martinis. That was all disappointing; but the food we did get made up for it. Ended up having the bbq mac and cheese for my meal and it was so good. Our group also had the Sheppard's pie, a pretzel, and the spinach artichoke dip. We enjoyed it all.
What a great experience. They were in waiting for us and even able to supply candles and a lighter. Truly felt welcome.
We were looking for are to a more traditional Irish pudding with food, beer, music but instead got good food, Irish food, decor, and dance club music that was too loud to enjoy a conversation. We left after the appetizer.
Emerald Loop had poor bar service, sat for over 30 minutes with no one coming to give refill or ask if we needed anything. Couldn't even get the attention of bar tenders. Absolutely ridiculous.

Low key sidewalk dining in downtown Chicago. The food is average as is the service, but you can sit outside on a nice day.

A typical Chicago bar and grill I suppose. We stopped in at 2:30 for a drink and appetizer. Staff was friendly but the food? We ordered fried pickles with a Bloody Mary and Old Fashioned. Pickles were served room temperature at best and were rubbery. Old fashioned was good but am unimpressed with the Bloody Mary.

The servers efficient and nice. Had the grill cheese brisket which was very filling but only OK taste wise. Good after-work place.
Kid-friendliness: Not really. It's an after work drinking place. They're not unfriendly to kids; it's just not the clientele that comes in. But if you were in a pinch, they have tables and kids could eat bar food here no problem.

We just ordered some late night food after a concert to go. Vibe is awesome, this would certainly be my pub of choice for games, etc if I was a local. Service was great. We each ordered a sandwich of some sort and the Elote Mac n Cheese. I forgot all about my sandwich and ate that entire dish of mac n cheese. It will live in my heart forever.
